Sure you could ad an electrical motor or some sort of recoil mechanism to turn the drum after the shot.
Thus combining the disadvantages of both revolvers and automatics.

But I don't really think that DICE decided to completely redesign the basic working of the revolver, they just messed up.

i myself have gotten sick of playing on beta servers that crash every five minutes, and have lost most hope of seeing 1.4 or whatever the hell it is. Battlefield2, and Quake Wars Beta FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pod surfing is supposed to get fixed by dice, but i have not heard anything about the delay for RDX, that's probably wishful thinking on part of the OP.

i agree with many (while back) who said the patch will coincide with release of quake wars. the only reason they are making this patch is to take attention away from quake wars and to prevent people from jumping ship to QW.

Since Sentience has become the voice of official BF2142 related statements, this game has the "abandoned" feeling because he is very inactive in the public community. In fact, all BF2142 related forums has become less active.

Well, in my case this won't work. Demo of ET:QW will be out on Monday and I will surely won't bother to wait for a patch that maybe ship with a copy of Duke Nukem Forever :hmm:

really? it's coming out on monday? then the patch should probably be released next week. :dead:

however, i hope it comes out later when it is COMPLETE. i don't want it to follow the trend of patches that create new problems like in the past.

The patch is never coming, they have forgotten about 2142 now.
