Congrats that stupid thing took a bit for me. Lots of 12-15 kill rounds.

For me the pistol was much easier, took about 2 rounds after I decided to get it.

nothing is more hilarious than people running away from you when they realise your rolling through everyone with the knife.

Yeah, there were several guys that were trying to run away from me when they saw me sprint at them with my knife. Very amusing, specially those who start panicking and because they run out of ammo. They try to get you with their pistol and then they run out of ammo with that as well and the last resort is their own knife. Of course that only happens when you swing and miss about 12 times (I never said i was a great knifer) lol

This thread reminds me of a little story that happened last week, a guy comes from afar with a knife in his hands, so I raise my Krylov and kill him...the guy starts to call me a noob for not fighting with him with a knife...and starts a kick vote.

yeah but sometimes players dont get the chance to apologise they are probably engaging the enemy;the punish option is there to stop wanton teamkilling;I guess that's the difference between me and you as players;If I was behind enemy lines and got killed by a friendly grenade I doubt I would punish for it...:hmm:

I finally got it and i wasn't chicken sh!t about it, I didn't join a knife server. I've been putting off getting it but i finally decided today was the day i was going to get it and it only took 4 rounds.



I got it on Armory city maps (48 man server and it was full) I tried on the Sux2BU server but it crashed when i was at 13 tags and 70 tickets to go. I lost all those 13 tags (Piece of crap game) I probably got about 50 or 60 tags in about 5 rounds today :)

My advice for those trying to go get it themselves, use your cloak and pack the light armor. I can't believe how many times i was able to run near enemies and they didn't notice the huge buzzing sound (Thank god for ppl who don't pay attention to the sounds around them) Yup, just cloak and try to get behind enemy lines. I got this badge on tunis harbor and i barely made it because we were flag chasing, i got 2 tags in the last 30 secs of the round.

I almost got it on cerbera and the enemy was fighting for the church and the bottom flag on the right side. I even got a few tags from guys on their main base. 1 sniper got mad and started talking trash because i crouched thru his APMs he left right near the ladder. "No way you could of gotten thru those APMs" Well i did, lol

There's no real point to this thread other than giving my self kudos. We're running out of things to discuss about this game, so MEH

I notice you still need the Pistol Commendation gold. After getting the Collectors, the pistol gold should be a piece of cake :yay::p

grats man, you've given me the inspiration to go for the silver, I never thought of the light armor! But I was going to go with the camo upgrade also and try it. I just suck with a knife, everytime I try I miss it seems.

Nice work Quemical. One day I may make a go of it myself, but I had my work cut out for me just getting the bronze Knife and Pistol badges. Not sure I want to put myself through the wringer for the silver and gold. =P

Nice! Personally, I didn't have as much luck with the camo approach. What worked best for me was light armor (FTW) and IDS. Got the gold on CareBear working the alleys to my advantage while keeping the IDS out. Worked like a champ.

Thank you for the congrats everyone. I rarely make it a mission to go tag chasing, i just run into the oppertunities. That's why i have only 15 dogtag badges, got 5 of them today.

I tried to get my pistol badge but FAILED. Only got 5 kills before i started getting OWNED over and over again. It's harder than the knife badge because knife kills are 1 swiff and the enemy is dead and there is no reloading to be done.

I got my Gold Collecters Badge on the armory city map server as well, I joined the server when there was 5 on each team, the round lasted over an hour and I had about 25 dogtags that round, only 7 or 8 were unique LOL.

I bet you never have gotten 17 kills with a pistol in a round and the game ends while you are shooting at your 18th pistol victim, I came 1 short of getting my gold pistol badge. I was SO mad
