Why no love for Shuhia Taiba?

Ok so we all know Suez is one of the most played maps. There are tons of Suez 24/7 servers, and i'm not just talking titan. We all know why Suez titan is popular and it isn't for good reasons (no aa, noobs love to play on it since they can get easy kills and not worry about getting shot down, no walkers.) Suez conquest has plenty of 24/7 servers too. And I love it its my most played map and I think it is extremely fun. Me personally I love big maps with lots of vehicles and I love to fly so Suez is one of my favorites. I had the 1.40 patch and I loved Highway Tampa and can't wait for the official release.

But...............Shuhia Taiba is another one of my faves and it gets no love and I'm wondering why. I understand the gunship lovers will come on here and say I dunno I love it too. But for the rest of you, why isn't Shuhia popular? I like it because it starts out with all flags neutral and both sides have an uncap, so if you are EU you don't have to worry about losing your flags with your gunships like on Suez. I love it also because it has two gunships per side like Suez.

Suez: Nope
Shuhia: Check

So why is Suez so popular and Shuhia gets no love?

Geez you make it sound as if Shuhia Taiba doesn't even have any gunships. You have played the map right?

Taiba was the first map i played EVER in 2142. I use to play this map regularly, but then all servers started switching to City maps only and has pretty much faded away with the rest of the big maps

Shuhia has too many gunships. If your in armour u stand little chance cause every 5 secs an enemy gunship comes down and blows you up.

I also love the big vehicle maps. I like playing Engy whether on foot or in a vehicle as much as I like Assault.

People are just ADD hyper and can't handle the odd lull in the action, so inf all the way on most servers. We have a mix of all maps on TG. The only one we don't play is Minsk because of the ridiculous vehicle choke at the outset.

I love Shuia Titan, but have never played a round of Shuia conquest. Not through choice mind, I've just never come across a server that had Shuia conquest in it's rotation.

Shuhia is a good map but the layout of the map with the center silo/cp being on a mountain makes it really difficult to go from one side of the map to the other(when you're on the ground) without having to climb up that mountain then down the other side. Together with the fact that the map is huge makes the simple act of getting from one cp to another painfully slow (in ground vehicles). I always end up spending more time 'traveling' than actual fighting when ever I'm on Shuhia in conquest mode. In Titan mode it's not so bad since you have the titan pods to get you places.

Because of this 'handicapping' of ground assets a single competent enemy gunship pilot can destroy your entire fleet of air transport and vehicles; I've seen this too many times. This is why it's gunship heaven since you have your pick of plenty of targets like air transports and a whole bunch of slow moving vehicles on the ground in the open as they crawl their way from one cp to another.

I say flatten it down and more people will play it; it's why I like Suez better... you can get anywhere pretty quickly in any vehicle.

it's to spread out imho;in all the other maps you can be at a silo inlike 1 minute in shuhia tabia this isnt really the case,also if you are in land vehivles there is only one way to get from one side of the map to the other which imo puts players off....

That's what the SAAW is for.

I love Shuhia too, it's a very great map in both conquest and titan (at least as long as the commenders move the titans)...

Shuhia is fine for easy wins for me, but well, I dunno, every other map seems better in my eyes. I'd like to see it with more players on the server, then I might play it more often.
