Baur: The Baur can leave you vulnerable where the other 3 Assault rifles, the Lambert and the SMG's excell. The Baur requires a steady aim and a heightened situational awareness over the other weapons.
SMG: There's nothing like killing someone over a long range with bursts from your SMG.
anything where your at a significant disadvantage or is hard to use, or is rare to see kills with, essentially i like using all weapons, bar one or two (APMS and frags for sure)
SMG (hehe, try nailing 7 vossers with this one, now thats entertainment)
TVGM on gunship
infantry kills when GS pilot
P33 or Takaeo kills against vossers (hahah)
Herzog
transport kills
either default AT weapon (sudnik and mitchell)

must admit Im starting to like the baur alot when you get the hang of it this gun owns;smg is a fav aswell - wow we agreed on something
Baur for Baur sniping and short bursts mid-range.
Clark because you have to get the jump on your enemy and for close combat pins.
Herzog because it's like the Clark but harder to use (IMO) and even fewer people use it.
Lambert, kind of for the same reason as the Clark, sneak around, get close, and waste them.
Sniper rifles for headshots and infiltrator pins.
Takao T-20 because it's a pistol but doesn't totally suck (I can't use the P33 to save my life).
I find running people over to be weirdly satisfying, be it in a car or low flying air vehicle nothings better than sending them 20 feet into the air or landing on them rofl
