Asking EA about the Editor

What happened to the 2142 editor? Wasn't this supposed to be released quite some time ago?

Like the Battlefield 2 editor for modding, wasn't their going to be one for 2142?

Regarding this issue; unfortunately, Battlefield 2142 does not have any map editor.

I know it has no editor, will their be one soon?

Yep, It's like talking to any big company, they put all the smart people in sales, once you buy the product your not that important anymore. They could have easily passed on your message to someone who knows about this, but it's easier to play dumb. Good luck getting a straight answer from them.

I'm having a hard time believing that EA has let us down for so long.

Come on EA, you know we've been waiting for this. Some more patiently than others, but now you're just late and turning into "non-truth-tellers"... YOU PROMISED US AN EDITOR.

You know very well that the BF fanbase is HUGE into modding your games. Let's not push this real far... you've already lost a large number of our friends who will no longer tolerate EA's extremely poor customer service.

...and this is coming from a publicly declared fanboy. What do you think the others are saying, EA?

The 2142 editor has been ready since Nov06... but they chose not to release it... Not sure why...(expansion pack sales i guess?)
It would be nice and it might keep interest up for 2142... especially with new games on the horizon... The BF2 editor works as you know... but its a bit of a pain to set it up
for 2142...

It works, but its a real pain... And what about us 2142 players who don't own BF2? Its physically impossible to get the BF2 Editor to install without having BF2 on your system I own BF2, but lost the install disk...

More likely support is outsourced to some company where people have no idea about the game.
They just look you question up in a database.
