Dice: Please give a little update about next patch

I haven't played 2142 for a week. I almost never accuse people of hacking unless they one hit kill me with a Krylov at 60m. Oh wait that's quite normal o.0

Well someone named DutchDude was playing. And he started to say that i cheat and all that other bs, just because i killed him with my Zeller(and he missed). :laugh:

It's impossible to "1 hit kill" a person, even w/ hacks.:shakehead:

It's most likely a 3 round burst where 2 rounds contacted your head.

2 HS' at that range requires incredible skill.(Or incredible luck.)

This is all of course assuming that such an event did occur, and this "example" is not just a flat out lie to show your hatred of the krylov.

Then my enemy must be blessed with extreme luck every single time I die. I'm not exaggarating here, I guess that you guys now know how much I hate the Krylov/Voss/PK rockets. Every time I die to a Krylov, I die instantly. Okk ok, not instantly, in 0.003 seconds then. Which still feels as instantly. Seriously, every time. Which is why I quit this game and went back to BF2.

Patch might be coming as soon as this week alongside with the MAC version of BF2142.

To be honest i'm scared they will break the balance further and not patch it ever again. Then again pod surfing grinds my gears, as does the Voss. Lets just hope for the best, but expect the worst.

I use the Krylov, because so many use the Voss, and I die just as much by the Krylov in those short bursts too, my Krylov kills are mostly close to short medium range anything further away and it feels almost impossible to hit anyone. Of course i have lots of times where my aim no matter how slowly i move is jerky of course thats probably lag, but it makes long and even short shots difficult.

if they release another patch then it will most likely be the last major one. as far as i'm aware DICE has followed the same schedule as they did with BF2 for releasing patches.

yea i would agree, perhaps this is why its taking so long, but tbh, all games are left with bugs until the very end of their play life so another patch is just another patch to me.

Dice are going to be moving on to other things now, Bad Company for instance (hurry up and release that!)

2142 will probably die when CoD4 and Crysis come out. CoD4's multiplayer aspect is so much better with perks that aren't completely obsolete (Cough smoke radar cough)

I dont think Crysis is going to be all to great, from what i hav heard there are millions of bugs in it that sometimes make it unplayable. CoD4 looks good but i have not really looke up much about it.

how long did EA have the 1.4 patch for bf2 after the game was release?
