Dice: Please give a little update about next patch

We love Dice when they communicate with the community, and this is the best site where they share some bits of info.

The latest comment from Dice was that SLSB diving/surfing (whatever) will be removed in 1.40 final patch.

Now seeing the patch being delayed (was supposed to come late July), it would be nice to know what other things will be definitively changed in next patch.

The official EA USA and UK forums are filled with complaints about Clark/Voss overpowered in 1.40 beta and I was wondering what is the current status of those.

Also what is the status of EU air transport F3 gun and if the tweaked Talon will be making his way in the upcoming patch.

I knew if the Clark started gaining popularity ppl would start complaining about it.

A shotgun is suppose to be that powerful. But A Light assault riffle shouldn't be as strong as the Voss is.

True that. The Clark is a hidden treasure to us few who use it.

And the Voss is and always will be over powered, but that's not the point of this thread I guess...

I try to be patient, but I too am eager for info on v1.4's release date and possible new tweaks/features.

imo that and tampa are the best parts of the patch.

I know i am going to hate the shotgun when it comes out. but they are going to buff the scar so i might start using it.
i hope they make the clark shoot slightly slower. seeing the vids its seems to be full auto.

I wish they didn't buff the scar. I love it as it is now and with less people using it, it doesn't become a 'noob' weapon.

But yes I wish kit saves and highway tampa would get here faster.

Hopefully they don't go re-nerfing the clark as it isn't a weapon that can be used in all situations and their improvements will only really help with close quarters combat in which situation the clark should win. Its not like its gonna be a weapon like some where no matter what the situation is it will almost always win depending on the user ofcoarse.

Kit saves should prove useful though id really like to try the new map although conquest servers tend to play close combat maps which get rather tedious.

Quotes from the beta testers suggest stability issues. Better to have a stable release than require a 1.41.
