I hope the mappers managed to close up all the old holes on the rooftops tho! With APCs around, getting to places you were never supposed to go in BF2 would be really easy.

I think someone is making a version with all 2142 buildings. I saw a pic of it here somewhere on the forums.

Just get in an FAV and press X, or whatever your countermeasures button is. Just remember that not all maps have the same vehicles on it, though. Some maps just have jeeps with a speed boost, others have invisible jeeps. The rail gun/smoke dropping FAV is on Karkand though. Not sure what 'special' thing with the tanks you're referring to.
