This game is actually a Classic following on from a classic (system shock) like nemesis said and shall be the best game of the year

wow! just read that review, sounds better than i could have hoped for, i LOVE dystopia baby! now all i need is a pc... they mention nothing about dx10 or vista or anything in it

It's not actually a sequal, so dont get your hopes up on seeing SHODAN.

It's a spiritual successor. System Shock 3 is likely to never happen, i believe EA own the rights and they were presented with a script for SS3 by one of SS2's original team. They turned it down, EA arent interested in making interesting games, they're only interested in making safe games.

SS2 also flopped, despite great reviews, it was unfortunate enough to be released around the same time as Half Life, though i would call SS2 the better game.

There were rumours of EA making a SS3 at one point, but i believe if they do it will be a standard no-brainer FPS.

yes, i apologise, i did mean spiritual successor. even though the true meaning of sequel is something that follows on... which it clearly does in certain ways, and for which i am sure many are vury vury happy
