Q: Dropped items remaining after death?

It only appears on servers that actually have a time limit though, which is pretty much none of them in Conquest mode -- the mode I play all the time.

I believe that Med/Ammo hubs are exceptions to this time rule, however :)

Hmm, good point. We all know they disappear if you deploy a second one, but I've never taken note of whether or not the deployed one vanishes if I die.

My tests shows that they pop 30 seconds after the owning kit vanishes, so there doesnt seem to be a difference.
Both my hubs are advanced, so that doesnt make a difference either.

Hmm... thought they stayed longer. I do know that if you deploy one before dying, then respawn you can deploy another one right next to the old one :)

That makes sense, since they appear to be two distinct kits. But I expect that the old one will disappear in less than a minute.

Unless you keep on switching between the kits before they time out.
If you sat on a heap of 10 kits and continuously switched, you could have quite a lot of deployables going
