I also hate going back to BF2 after a few months, starting as support, then firing on a guy (while I'm standing and unzoomed) and then swearing when I can't get a single hit on him. :wall:

It's wierd, actually- I definitely take a while to get... Not so bad... After a vacation. But when I go to BF2, holy crap I feel invincable. G36E FTW. If someone's in visual range, they die. I was never that good at the infantry maps in BF2, but 2142 has made me a lot better at them.

Had 5 months off but played single mode to get the rust off. I did great and there were no horrible rounds. Although i found the competition a bit tougher.

Can't hit **** on CSS and in COH, I have forgotten all my tactics and strats.

But now, I seem to like Warhammer more than COH.

hehe... damn you leaf!!! i'm just terrible right now, but slowly getting better. i've only put about an hour or so into it lately. i'm using wireless for my desktop right now, and i don't think the terrible lag is helping either.

anyway i put it.... i'm just rusty =)

That's funny. I'm the exact opposite. The more I play 2142 the worse I get at BF2. I can run around with a Baur on single shot mode and pop-pop-pop, enemy's down. Now with whatever the assault rifle is in BF2 it's pop-pop-pop......pop.....pop...WTF? Then I'm mowed down by an SMG or carbine.

I quit BF2142 for about 3-4 months. When I came back I sucked for a day or two but then it all came back to me (except for sniping, I think I never seem to get any headshots now)

It takes a little getting used to if you take a break, so why not relax with a nice cup of soothing Titan? :)

By that, I mean Titan is less frantic than certain Conquest Maps.

I came back to 2142 last weekend after 6 months of MMO playing and damn I sucked so much. My K/D went down to 1 from around 3 where it used to be. However the last game on sunday was 50/5 and this was the moment the smile came back to my face :)
