ok, i've been into battlefield's 1942 desert combat mod and i moved, so i haven't played 2142 in over 2 weeks.

i used to destroy conquest servers, and always... always finish in the top 5.

hehe... after these 2 weeks off.... i tried playing last night and i completely sucked! =) died more than i killed :cry:

anyone else get this rusty this bad with such little time off???? :)

Yes, I had off almost 2 weeks, this sunday being my first day back, I had a 1.4 kdr. I thought it would have been worse tho. After a few days of playing my normal 2 hours aday it comes back tho. hehe

never took no more then a couple days off, but when i go play a little bf2 i find that i do better now then when i played it all the time

everytime i switch from bf2 to bf2142 or back, i find the first few round i play to be quite bad. the mechanics of bf2 and bf2142 are jus slightly different.

i think from the 2 weeks off, my game-awareness just wasn't there.

usually, i know everything that's going on in my surroundings. i now am finding myself suprised frequently... hehe... just not myself.

I recently took a two month vacation from the game and only experienced rust for about 10 minutes last week before I got in a groove with the krylov and got myself kicked from the poorly admined server because they thought I was hacking. :p Although I still have some rust using my knife.

lol, my worst habit is hammering on the spacebar wondering where my parachute is xD

oh, and my KD ratio is horrible in any case, lol :P

Yeah, I can't count how many times I left a nice splat on the ground when going back to bf2. :laugh: Another thing I find myself forgetting to do is to press "Ctrl" instead of "Z" when firing your gun when I switch back to 2142.

Oh yes the dreaded 'missing' parachute:dead: This was the hardest habit to 'unlearn' when I went back to bf2.

Since I am only able to play during school breaks (my school laptop can't even play StarCraft without lagging), I would play a few single-player games to knock the rust off and then go back to dog-tagging people across the globe.

i took a week off and had to take a week to get back to normal sniping lol
