tbh I'd rather have the BF2 scope and no sway with bullet drop.

I don't snipe very far, I stay in medium-long ranges well within the draw limit.

Hold on... Let me get this right.

You are saying that there is no bullet drop in BF2142?

There is bulletdrop, but it isn't like bf2's.

there is bullet drop. you can't aim the same for 100m shot and a 300m shot.

it might not be as bad as it is in bf2 tho. I can't tell you.

Since when did making stuff heavier make stuff fall faster?

                        You sure about that?

I'm not going to be the @$$ that comes in to try and look cool by trying to put you down, but rest assured somebody will. They will most likely have a small penis.

FYI, it is aerodynamic drag, not mass, that affects the speed of falling objects in a non-vacuum setting.

P.S., I have to be honest, I had to look that up as I thought that was the case, but I wasn't 100% sure. Been a while since Physics class.

I learnt it as friction. The speed reduces, giving it no more energy to propel further, hence it starts to lose its speed. In turn, height.

                            You are currently 54th.

Where are the servers located where u usually play(USA Europe?)? We could team up sometime to conquest map. Since i need to lower my textures to reduce lag in titan, and reducing textures makes my Zeller's scope all red.

A bullet does not lose height because it loses speed.
The only important force working on it downwards is gravity, so its drop is a simple function of time. Air resistance is probably not relevant since the downwards speed is so low

The reason faster bullets have less drop is that they reach the target faster, thus gravity has less time to influence the bullet.

At least that's how I understood high school physics.

Vreki is right. A bullet loses height because of gravity - Force is a function of the mass of a bullet and gravity, so if the bullet is heavier, the downward force applied to the bullet is greater, so the bullet loses height faster. A bullet does not immediately reach freefall (maximum possible falling speed), so if the bullet reaches the target faster than it can reach free fall, it won't fall as much ie. gravity has less time to influence the bullet
