Entering A Vehicle In The Air

Is it possible? Say your heli gets blown, and then you jump out and parachute.. Could you pick up a team mate in another helicopter while he floats down?

Just hold E, you'll enter the first vehicle you bump into (except enemy vehicles of course)

It doesn't work while parachuting though.

I did somethin like that the other day, I was flying like 1700m in the air with gunship, and i bailed out of gunship and I jumped back in the gunship after freefalling 900-1000 meters.

hmm cant say ive tried it but i would imagine it requiring split second timing to enter the heli before your parachute tks the heli.

and even then, having a heli follow you after yours got destroyed sounds like they would just be getting in line to die.

seems too much like a move that would happen in a movie :)

BF2 Jet Stunt players did this a lot. Not only the jumped off their own plane and caught it in mid air again but sometimes they pulled off tricks where another jet picks them up.

At 3:18 he jumps off his own plane and grabs another plane in mid air.
You can do this in BF2142 as well but Gunships are known have a super gravitational pull compared to the BF2 flying vehicles =P

If you have your parachute open you will destroy the other gunship. Somehow the parachutes of the future are made of titanium. If you don't have it open you could do it if it was timed right.

did it alot of times :P but it is possible to go in a air transport for example while parachuting all the pilot has to do is descend slowly to slow down the falling speed of the parachuter till he gets of it.

I did this the other day on a public titan server with my friend over VOIP. I was trying to get my titan drop pin and he was protecting me in a gunship until the other gunship gave him and me trouble, he flew high in the air and ended up having to bail, he managed to free fall all the way down where i maneuvered under him and he landed in the transport, was wicked because it felt very bond like
