    Bunny hopper of death.

While playing this evening I came across someone who had quite literally mastered the art of bunny hopping. If you shot at him he would sort of jump off the spot and glide through the air. If you were having a corner fight he would be able to sort leap like a frog to the side to avoid death. This sort of hopping was different... he'd made it an art. His K/D was pretty good, something like 30k5d.

After a while I managed to kill him about 6 or 7 times in a row and obviously thats when the insults and 'n00b' comments came hurling at me because people with high K/D ratios usually get angry if they're being killed alot by a single individual.

Either way, this was rediculous because he was able to skip away from danger by using this bizarre bunny hopping technique and then come back with his f**king Cryslov gun thing.

I'm all NO to bunny hopping though, it is dishonourable and designated specifically for people who fail at life.

    Nice one.

Is jumping over the bad guys once or twice when attempting to knife someone considered bunny hopping?

You should probably just get used to people bunny-hopping now.

Your stereotyping detracts from any credibility I would have given to you.

In Half Life lore, 2 jumps or more is bunnyhopping. Dunno what it is here.

But yeah, dead bunnies dont hop, Clark shotgun, etc etc.

I do it all the time, I have no shame of it since it is a control in the game not a hack, when EA releases a patch for it, then I'll stop

I yet have to see a hardcore bunny hopper. All the ones I've seen have been those bunny hops was for a quick attempt to escape. Not used offensively at all. I myself used this tactic in Camp G ff off server just to get my Gold Explosive badge but I personally feel I made myself more of a target then just trying to sneak around.

I also try hopping when I reload and someone is shooting. Honestly, works only for noobs... any average and above players take hoppers down.

i usually get those scores. how ever i don't insult people when they kill me.
bunny hoping is not a bad thing, if can't shoot him while he is bunny hoping you need to look at you aim.

I bunny hop on reloads, when attacking someone in a knife vs. gun scenario, or when I'm in the mood for some RDX killing (yeah, I do it, so what). I use a basic Microsoft internet keyboard so no macro's or anything here.

I thought bunny hopping was made unfavourable in bf2142? I never manage to bunny hop and dolphin dive like I did in bf2, anyway this guy's still a whore with that hopping skill and that krylov.

I still don't get the dolphin dive thing. Maybe that's why I'm just about to break the 1/1 KDR for the first time and I'm a freaking E9.
