What weapon is this? Never seen before!

Hi Everyone

I just picked up someone elses' kit during a game and it had this weapon on it, the kit was assault (as the kit also had the defib and medic box) and yet I have never seen the weapon before nor can I find it as an unlock, so can someone please tell me what it is and where to get it as I want to get my hands on one!

After I picked it up I killed a few people and I believe I saw "SCAR" next to the names, but thats all I remember.

Any info appreciated!

It's an option for your SCAR-11 skin which is accessible by using the ALT+F4 skins menu option. To access the skins menu option, simply press ALT and the F4 button at the same time when you're playing in a server, your skins will switch.

Its the Best Buy Scar. The way you used to get was preordering BF2142 from best buy and they gave you a code to put in on EA's website so its registered on your account

Apart from the graphics, is it exactly the same in terms of statistics as the typical SCAR?

And since I've already bought 2142, I'm guessing there's no way to get my hands on this?

One thing, it sucks. Its the same as the original SCAR-11, only blocking the whole right side of your screen.

Not unless you get a key from a person that does have it. And yeah it just changes skin.

Wow it's been ages since we had a "OMG - what gun is this thread" lol. Is only cosmetic.

Personally I find the styling a little overblown! It's the sort of gun they sell to 17 year old boys. I'm just surprised it doesn't have TURBO emblazoned down one side in 3" letters

I found a little secret way in another forum of how to actually get rid of it, and i mean get rid of it without any punkbuster kicks and so on, if anyone needs the info PM me and i will try and find it again.
