Agreed, the Lambert is a great gun, just don't try to assault anyone with a bigger gun then you. Its great for flanking someone(s) and taking them out quickly and efficiently.

I do think it should be silenced though for recon style combat.
YES Recon should have a silenced pistol and lambert.

I use the Lambert whenever I'm using Recon to attack or defend a Titan. It's not an assault gun, that's for sure, but it's the best thing a Recon guy can kit for those actions, and with that in mind, it's a damn good gun, considering a sniper rifle is pretty much a no-no unless you are extremely good with them (I'm not).

No argument there! That would be ideal, but I doubt we'll see it happen outside of another booster, which already doesn't look too likely (though I'd love to be wrong about that).

The Lambert is great as long as you keep to a simple rule:

If the enemy is facing you, disengage. If he's facing away from you, shoot him.

Use it lik an smg. Run, gun and strafe.

If you want precision shots at medium range, crouch zoome and shoot in bursts.

Like everyone's been saying, this is a recon gun, thus it's not built for frontal assault roles (though if the situation calls for you to backup a squad of assault players storming, say, ruins in camp G, then it's does a hell of a lot better then a sniper rifle or pistol).

              Therefore, you should rely on:

              1. avoiding combat until within 10m (at that distance, you might as well go for the knife)

2.finding the best possible positioning between you and your enemy (if possible, try to shoot when he's running in a long straightway without cover, or when he's traped in a corner)

I find the camo help's with these tasks immensely (the average player is either too busy or has too crappy graphics to see you if your cautious), I recommend giving up apm's for camo, since you wanna try to be mobile using the lambert.

Indeed, the spread and recoil is almost negligable that you can just full auto the gun :)

Hmm... I've used the Lambert a few times before and I can honestly say that it has a pretty low learning curve. But maybe it's my usage of the Baur that transferred over to the Lambert. It's all about knowing the gun.

                          Yea am agreeing with Cannon.

We want a Silenced Pistol for Recon, i loved the Silenced Pistol from BF2, well i loved the pistols in general, they were just grate, so much bettre than the BF2142 pistols.

Adjustments that i would like to see for Recon

                          Silenced Pistol
                          Silenced Carbine
                          Silenced Sniper

I mean it's the future why wouldn't they be silenced lol

The pistols barley make any noise as it is so I don't see a need for them to be silenced :o

Lambert is good, just need to aim at the head. If you and an assault are going head-to-head with both aiming at the torso then you're not going to survive.

Go deep; blow sh!t up; stay out of the fray; engage Tangos if you can't avoid them while you're going deep. That's how I use it anyway. I find that although it's similar to the SMG's, it's not quite as good at the spayin' and prayin'.

it is a good gun but you need to master it first
