Targeting Assists

Well first off that A$$master wasn't in my squad, so wouldnt of shown up on the same netbat, and he was in the rorsch at harbour whereas am at ruins lol.

So only my explanation adds up.

It's supposed to be when someone kills a guy that you put up a red diamond for, but I guess EA never put it completely in the game.

No its not... I have tested it time and time again, and it all adds up. Everyone who has gotten one before was in a squad. I SERIOUSLY doubt you would get it differently from everyone else Provide a Screen Shot, and I will believe your story.

I got pic from that Camp G one. I have played this game since it hit the stores. I have never seen this thing before. First time i saw this was 1-2 weeks ago. So it sure feels like random thing...

does the pulse monitor or otus count for this?

or is it visual targeting?

i'm just wondering because out of hundreds of hours with the otus, i've never seen it. or, never noticed it.

I cant see it being spotting enemies cos i always spot enemies so am pretty sure i would of had a few more now.

And remember i was at Ruins, whatever was killed was in the rorsch at harbour, so i obv never put it on the netbat, plus the fact that guy wasn't in my squad. But i had already been on the rorsch not much earlier.

Perhaps there is more then one condition. Since you've tested your's, it must be a reliable (though difficult) way to get an assist.

There is probably a different fufilling condition that does not require you to be in a squad.

Had it once. Just use the pulse meter and scan like crazy until you get one. :)
