Then you should look no further than College-Strike, an upstart service that looks to bring college students together in the name of Counter-Strike. Launched by a group of players from Penn State (not to be biased or anything), the service features public game servers, an IRC chatroom, and forums. The service has already seen players from Penn State, Pitt, and Carnegie Mellon.

The server is in Texas probably for the fact that more college students across the nation will recieve decent pings, as centralized as Texas is.Comment

Well -- there are a group of kids here who organize weekend CS sessions, but I'm a little wary to forego socializing for CS on a Friday or Saturday night.

LOL! yeah really...Its anoying when you hear kids that are on there and their voice hasn't changed. I sware...the mic picks too much of the annoying and too little of the ownage. I love the mute button =DComment
