Titan Airdrops

What exactly are the requirements to score a Titan Airdrop point? (When you are the pilot of a Transport VTOL and people pod out onto the enemy titan).

I've done this numerous times (at least once with a full helicopter that emptied itself onto the titan) and I've never scored a point for it. (In the demo I scored dozens of points doing this though).

So, how do you score these points?

I think it's what you say and the points show up as driver ability assist. Correct me if I'm wrong, cause I'm not sure.

oh i heard that you must be 300 meters away from enemy titan before doing that but im not sure either, I just know that you must be far enough.

It's 500m I think or around that.

I got a driver ability assist when I was 10 feet off the titan deck and the genius decided to risk his life by podding out lol, so I don't think distance matters.

there is a distance limit

there use to be no limit
then when you just keep hovering over the titan
if you have a good team who spawn on you
you can get alot of the pin and a guy can get 100+ points if his lucky

Ugh, here we go... I will post this only once, from now I on will simply quote this post:
Troop Transporter Pin... This is no doubt the hardest pin to get, so listen closely. Get in a squad (preferably with people on your buddy list, but not required), and make sure your squad mates have VoIP, or use the squad chat. Tell them what you are trying to do, and ask them if they will help. If they say yes, then proceed! So, you are probably wondering: "What exactly is a 'Titan Air Drop'?". Well, it means dropping people off at the enemy titan of course! Two Frequently asked questions: So, if I sit in a transport that is on top of the enemy titan and let people spawn inside and get work? OR: How about Hovering over the enemy Titan? Can I hover and let people drop out onto the enemy Titan? The answer to BOTH those questions is NO. Neither of those will work. Here is what does: If a teammate hops into your transport while it is 200 Meters or more from the enemy titan, they will be applicable for a Titan Air Drop. Fly them over to the enemy titan, and shout "Bail out!". If they drop successfully, you should get a message saying "You got a driver ability assist!". Do this ten times to get your pin. Remember, 200+ Meters away, or it counts for nothing! Vertical does not count!
