    Multiplying by 1/3rd is the same as dividing by 3. It effectively makes a vehicle kill worth 1/3rd of an infantry kill, as 1/3rd skill is required to pull it off... in this example/theory. It seems pretty reasonable to me, to be honest.

      SkillScore = 1.8896

      Let's see how this pans out.
      Kt 4291
      Tp 3068
      t (6x24+6) x 60 +31 = 9031
      Kv 717

      S = (3068 + (4291-717) + 717/3) / 9031 = 0.7619
      But it occurs to me that I havent taken deaths into account, so lets calculate them likewise as "CostScore"

      Dt=Total deaths
      Dv = Killed by vehicles
      t = time played
      Rv the relative value of a inf kill in a vehicle. 1/3 IMO

      CostScore = ( (Dt-Dv) + Dv*Rv )) / t

      For me Dt = 4885 and Dv = 1119 so I have a cost of ( 4885-1119 + 1119/3) / 9031 = 0,4581

      So if we call the first score the "Benefit" and the second score "Cost", then the total skill is Benefit - Cost = 0,7619 - 0,4581 = 0,3038

      Apparently I suck, but at least it is positive

              I tried creating an online spreadsheet for those without thick glasses.

              Replace my values with your own to get your score

                      *sigh*.

                      TP = 9218
                      KT = 17567
                      KV = 1417
                      RV = 0.334
                      t = 16360.75

                      [(9218 + (17567 - 1417)) + (1417 x 0.334)] / 16360.75

                      [(9218 + 16150) + 473.278] / 16360.75

                      25841.278 / 16360.75

                      Benefit Skill Score: 1.5795

                      DT = 8816
                      DV = 2049

                      [(8816 - 2049) + (2049 x 0.334)] / 16360.75

                      (6767 + 684.366) / 16360.75

                      7451.366 / 16360.75

                      Cost Skill Score: 0.4554

                      Cumulative Skill Score (B - C) = 1.5795 - 0.4554

                      Cumulative Skill Score: 1.1241

                      Find a way to factor back into the equation Vehicle on Vehicle kills (which should not have the penalty applied to them), and deaths to a vehicle while in a vehicle yourself (which should count as "full" deaths), and you'll have a fine little measuring tool here.

                        You could just have used the spreadsheet

                        I agree on Vehicle vs Vehicle, but it doesn't appear to be tracked in the stats.
                        At least not directly but maybe there should be a bonus for destroyed vehicles?
                        There also ought to be a penalty for lost vehicles, but I don't think that data is available.

                        BTW Kain gets a score of 0.85-0,23 = 0,62
                        That does seem a bit low, anybody care to verify my calculations?
                        I suspect that the 169065 minutes played is what drags him down.

                          The only problem with that is that it still counts as an infantry kill even if you kill another guy in a walker, and that takes much more skill that just tearing through a groundpounder. So people who play vehicle conquest or titan all the time will have worse scores than city map players.

                            I realize it is not perfect, but I think it is already way better than the simple accumulated score used by the leaderboard.

                            So say that we award 1 point for each destroyed vehicle. That would reward those who do vehilce combat (and engineers)

                            Vreki without vehicle bonus: 0,5152
                            Vreki with vehicle bonus (1207 destroyed) 0,6489

                            I like it!
                            Of course it could be argued that not all vehicle have equal value, but I think that is overcomplicating it.

                            To calculate your own score with vehicle bonus, just add the number of destroyed vehicles to your TeamWork score.

                                I am not sure that I understand the question?
                                It does in no way reflect your rating on the leaderboard, it is an attempt to use your stats to calculate how skilled your are at the game.

                                You can get to the top of the leaderboard by playing the walker on infantry maps exclusively for 150 days, so it has little value when comparing skill.
