there was a post on this a long time ago. someone calculated it out. it adds 13% to your recovery time and reduces fall damage by 13%.

not a ton... but hey... what would you expect moon shoes to do? =)

its hard to tell if it really helps, but you do recharge your sprint ever-so-slightly faster. falls hurt period, this just cushions it "a little". hope that helps.

actually, the biggest benefit can be found on berlin. u know the little hill on the left side at the first flag? the eu side always spams nades to the other side? normally, u cant jump over to the other side, but the boots unlock gives u jus enough boost to let u jump over, safer and faster way than to go from the middle where the pac apc would drive through.

I unlocked the comfy shoes for one reason: The picture looks pretty nifty.

Definately worth it. Coupled with the other recovery upgrade and light armour, you can run for ages :P

I think the boots help, and any upgrade that is available to all kits 100% of the time is worth it.

I unlocked these boots as soon as NS came out and TBH they are a waste of time, i still get life taken off me when i jump off the smallest of walls and the sprint is basically the same but you can last a bit longer (not that much). GRRRrrrrr.

Seriously? I can't recall taking falling damage from entering via the vents ever, even before I unlocked the boots. I surely don't now. Weird.

You take damage if you jump and drop down the hole, I believe. Never taken damage from just walking down the hole, though. (Discounting damage from RDX/APM/voss/clark/ganz/enforcer/whatever else happens to be camping there, of course :p)

Ah, yeah, that'd explain it. I always just run or walk over and drop down.

It used to almost kill you when you went down the vents. And if you went down a level on the outside you died instantly...

Honestly this should not be an unlock but a fundamental game change, but alas here we are.
