The Wii is finally getting the recognition it deserves. It should soon surpass even the 360 in sales. The biggest problem that the Wii has had so far is that practically no one except Nintendo has really tried to use the real capabilities of the Wii. Hopefully that will now change.
However, Twilight Princess is one of the greatest games of all time (as are all of the Zelda series which completely pwn Halo :p) and soon we will be able to add a Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which will have online play too! Just those games are more than enough to overpower Sony and Microsoft.
Soon there should be great third party games for the Wii too. So far we've mostly seen ports from previous gen consoles. But the Wii isn't going away and has sold more consoles much faster than the PS3 or 360. 3rd party developers can't ignore it anymore.
And the graphics on the Wii are pretty amazing for me. Most people still don't have 1080p widescreen TVs to make the full use of blu-ray and HD. I have a CRT TV myself (parents won't upgrade and I won't spend the money
). Some Wii games look awesome, not nearly as good as the PS3, but closer than many people think.
