That should be a lot of fun. Wii fit looks pretty dumb, but the board seems really accurate, for you whole body movements. Imagine playing a skateboard or snowboard type game!

I wonder if jumping on it would break it though.... probably.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo will make it sturdy enough for any person of any weight. Hopefully. :p

Some people need to think (espically fan boys of x360)

X360 does NOT have HDMI output as defeault why PS3 has.

The X360 Elite (Which has HDMI output) costs as much as PS3. After using both, PS3 is way more graphical and games are based on HDMI.

Future of Enternainment is HDMI and Blu Ray.

Lets not forget Wii. The Wii IS Next-Gen. It takes gaming to a new level with its Wii Mote. Its very fun and innotive.

PS3 is Next-Gen. You have the next generation of HDMI, Graphics and Blu Ray.

X360.......what does it have to make it "Next-Gen"? nothing.

Wii doesn't nearely have enough games for everyone and it simply can't compete with PS3 or 360 as far as hardware goes. That doesn't just mean it can't do as pretty graphics, it also won't be able to do certain other tasks that require more processing power than a PS2.

PS3 costs a crap load for the basic unit while 360's top unit comes with all sorts of goodies. PS3 can't even say they're the cheapest blu ray player anymore.

Hell, aside from the anal retentive, I'd honestly be surprised if anyone really gave a toss about blu ray or high definition when it came to buying games and games consoles.

Then you can talk about all the exclusive titles that sony has lost to the 360 and the online services clearly outmatch PS3s

I wonder what you're definition of next gen is, anyway. In console terms, it's usually the next set of consoles to be put on the market. The 360 being the next generation of xbox. I don't really see where teh confusion arises.

Saying the 360 isn't next gen is no less fanboyish than those you aimed to demean

Comparing Core X360 with PS3 is just wrong. The features of PS3 outwieghts too much.

I played x360 I was going to buy it with Gears of War. I tried at my friend's and went "WTF" My PC can run better graphics. X360Live? Do you see me paying for my PC interent service to use firefox or msn messanger or anything?

Most titles are multiplatform now so meh.

X360 don't have so "many goodies" + 360 Games are not meant for HD.

People do give a toss about Blu Ray and HDMI. If you ever saw a normal DVD compared to a BlU Ray the difference is a lot. In a few years we would be renting blue ray too.

People want new expiereinced like the Wii playing style of PS3's player and graphics and (even though not valid) X360's Xbox Live (which PC greatly is better for that stuff and free)

Sorry but HD and Blu Ray does not constitute as an argument for PS3 as far as I'm concerned. I can guarantee that it is NOT what most people look for in a toy :P

And we were not talking about PC gaming so I guess this conversation is over :P

Also MEntion the upscaling old games and even normal DVDs to HD :P

Wii will soon pass X360 in sales.

From what appears so you have an X360. Red Light rings a bell? Overheating? Ring of Death? Tray broken? Is that a helicopter in your room?

At least my Ninendo and Sony Stuff is still working since launch even my Nintendo 64 and PSX

                            ah.

I have yet to see a PC game that has needed more than one DvD. I doubt it will go over 2 dvds.

Deesies, the Gamecube was more powerful than the PS2 , and the Wii is 1.5-2x times more powerful than the Gamecube. The Wii will be able to pump out much more intense graphics/effects than the PS2, it's just the lazy developers only porting games. Look at the new videos for Super Mario Galaxy, that game actually looks close to 360 launch graphics (compare to Kameo).

As for Wii Fit and the balence board, that's just Nintendo's "blue ocean" strategy. I can see the game selling many systems, but personally it doesn't interest me. The balence board could be used as racing pedals (used in conjunction with the racing wheel shell) though.

The gun shell is interesting to me, and it won't be only for rail shooters either (it's confirmed to work with Metroid Prime 3) as the shell houses the nunchuck as well.

Also, have you heard the latest PS3 news? The $100 price drop is only temporary, just to clear out Sony's stock of 60GB PS3s. They're introducing a "new" 80GB model which will cost $600 (IMO a pretty bad move, I was hoping that the price drop was permenant) again.

I've also heard that the 360 will get a price drop to better compete with the Wii. Should make competition and help drive down the costs of all three consoles.

The point is that it isn't nearly as capable as the xbox and the ps3.
