First attempt to connect always fails

yep this started popping up for me as well, strangely enough when this happens I'll actually be able to play for a longer period of time (almost to the end before I freeze-up) on the next map I choose than normal. The rest of the time I'll make through ~1/2 through a round before I lock-up.

Small hi-jack to add to this question so as to avoid starting another post...when I crash and lock-up/restart, PnkbstrB is no longer in my administrative services and in order to see it again I have to re-install with pbsvc. I'm just tossing out a guess that when pnkbstrB shutsdown or whatever it does the game freezes? No idea the sequence of events so I don't know for sure.

Whatever they did, they really need to undo, this game was working very well for me since last Oct right up til recently when they couldn't leave something alone and ended up breaking it. It's absurd and I can only hope EA/evenbalance/your choice of Supreme Being does something in Patch 1.4 to rectify this situation because the game has quite literally become unplayable for me.:shakehead:

First server always loses connection
so my Xfire doesnt work either.

Maybe they will fix this game one day, atleast this is proof they are working on tuesdays!

Just started getting this issue although tonight when I connected it popped up first time. I started on a NS map - dunno if that had owt to do with it.
