corridor solution?

Does anyone know if you can put RDX on a drone? if you can you could smoke grenade a corridor send a runner in to clear apm's ( willing victim needed) and then run in and detonate when in range.sorry if you cant I havnt got round to trying yet

put rdx on drone sprint into corridor and detonate hopefully taking the defenders with you - comprende hombre...the smoke should give u enough cover and the runners are for distraction..

The drones lag like 5 meters behind, so to be with-in effective range you'd have to be right next to your target or beihnd them even. You'd be better off cloaking in and RDX chucking :P

You should give it a shot though, and share with us how it goes.

ok I'll be a hero if its a way of getting those nade' spammers, the drone lag might be a problem though I seem to remember they clunk around all over the place, has anyone tried sticking RDX to a grenade held in the hand, 90% sure this cant be done though...

rofl u try smoking a corridor and run in it about 5 nades will get u since the main defences in corridors are supply and recon recon put RDX near the entrance aswell as apms and supply just spamm nades...

only thing i can suggest is that perhaps a 5 man rush which will clear the infantry with nades in there hands or spamm your own nades, or throwing RDX in and blowing the enemy rdx..

umm runners acting as decoys, hopefully that will take out static defences9apms , rdx) smoke acting as cover etc,this would probably be a 5 man job: smoke in first , (grenade spammers bang bang );first runner go , second runner go, suicide bomber go, medic in behind to revive, secure perimeter destroy console

Once you get the APM/RDX clear, the naders are easy if there's the slightest pause. Rush straight in and shoot them when you get to/past them. You should be on them before they can get their guns out :p

yeah but if this technique works it'll take out 4-5 nade campers,ps I can get my gun out pretty damn quickly all I do is click a mouse button

Here's the ingredients I think are necessary to give this a shot at working:
- SL is recon w/light armor (for cloak and faster sprint to give you the maximum chance of getting deep into the corridor)
- some other squaddie is the recon who puts the RDX on the SL's drone (maybe even 2 or 3 for a bigger boom)
- other squaddies are assault (to revive the SL and anyone else) and support (to resupply the recons w/RDX)
1) squaddie puts RDX on the SL's drone
2) SL throws some RDX into the corridor entrance to blow any APMs/RDXs nearby
3) support meatshield squaddie runs first to draw fire and trip APMs further up the corridor
4) SL runs in cloaked and behind the first guy (but far enough behind where he won't get blown up by the APMs tripped by the first guy)
5) when the SL gets as far as he can up the corridor before dying, over VOIP he tells the squaddie whose RDX is on the drone (who's standing outside the corridor with detonator in hand) to blow it (or the squaddie watches the Kill messages for his SL's name to pop up - might give faster recognition)
6) RDX goes boom, hopefully takes out defenders/sentry guns
7) rest of the squad rushes, reviving the APM-tripping Support guy and the SL along the way

The key IMO is having someone OTHER than the guy with the drone do the RDX placing/detonation. I'd try this out but I haven't been on for over a week, my simple PC upgrade being stymied at every turn by parts that won't fit!

^Good idea Trippet, that way if the SL dies the RDX holder can still detonate the jihad drone for him.

And iirc the squad leader got unlimited drones in patch 1.10 or something because of the bugs with the drone.

your biggest flaw is that if u open a drone on the titan then instant death due to being crushed

It's been said millions of times, look straight up while deploying. Though due to the recent Otus "fix" the drone might get caught in places. The Accipter wasn't "fixed" so try it with that.

smoke grenades just invite defenders to toss even more grendades.... i know i would! it signals the attack

i've found, ya gotta have one or two to rush in and toss their own nades. 99% of the time you WILL die via nade/sentry/gun. ya just gotta trust your squaddies to charge in after you, kill any you didn't kill... and rez you. 3-4 staggard nade spammers are damned tough to get by. i don't even try if it's that well guarded. i'll kill them with silo's!
