      My keys are probably different than everyone's, lol. I love 'em though and they stay relatively the same across all games I play.

      E = Forward
      D = Backward
      S = Strafe Left
      F = Strafe Right
      G = Swap Kits
      A = Crouch
      W = Weapon Switch
      R = Reload
      T = Enter/Exit Vehicles
      V = Squad Voice
      B = Commander Voice
      C = Prone
      Y = Commander Screen (see the silo timers and such)
      Q = Command Screen (spot targets, etc..)
      Caps = Squad Map
      Enter = Spawn Screen/Kit Screen
      Tab = Scoreboard
      Left Shift = Sprint, Counter Measures
      Space = Jump, Speed Boost

      Most other keys are default... But this seems to work very well for me. I can easily find my keys if I move my hands around thanks to the F key's indention (keys or backlit anyway, but that's besides the point :P). Also, a lot of the times, I wont use Shift or Space for sprinting or speed boost, I'll just double tap E (forward).

        Default shift here - I just wish I could toggle crouch.

            Arrow keys = Movement
            right CNTRL = Sprint
            DEL = enter vehicle
            home = cycle camera views
            num pad 1 = crouch
            num pad 2 = prone
            num pad 3 = cycle weapons
            num pad enter = counter measures
            reload = middle mouse wheel click

            All my buttons ingame are customized to my liking maybe only 1 or 2 keybinds are originally what they were when I got the game.

              Rezzed message of the day!

I have a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 6000 (keyboard/mouse combo) and have settled on the following key combinations:

              My large thumb button, I use to sprint. I remapped my right mouse button to generate a ctrl+\ combo. Ctrl is still used for crouch and \ I remapped in the Options section of BF2142 to Alt-Fire. This does two important things simultaneously for me. When I hold the right mose button I both crouch and aim. Now, when I come upon a target I can do the two most important moves in one natural stroke. I can also toggle aim and bounce easily which helps thwart a go-for-the-head sniper. I had to remap options for land and air vehicles as well for their Alt-Fire sequences. Works for me!

                    The basics for me....
                    Arrow keys for forward, back, and strafes

                    Del - Opens map
                    End - Zooms map
                    1_end - Prone
                    0_ins - Reload
                    ._del - Pick up kit
                    Ctrl - Use/Enter/Exit
                    Shift - Secondary/Zoom
                    Enter - Sprint
                    \ - Scores
                    Backspace - Spawn Screen
                    Right Click - Duck/Crouch
                    Mouse wheel - Weapons
                    Press Mouse wheel - Jump

                      I divided move keys between hands.

                      right hand operates forward/backward move by mouse 2 and 3 buttons, left hand does strafe moves using keyboard. I found that such solution more effective but requires more practice.
