          What? No more comments?

I will comment on behalf of captqbec:

Everyone is complaining about the LAG and crashing and how BF4 is unplayable. It wasn't ready for release and then they are also charging for DLC that should have been part of the game! BF4 is just BF3.5 and on top of that is a browser based game. It doesn't even have a server list built in-game. There are no mod tools, which shows that DICE doesn't care about its community, let alone listen to it. It takes no skill to <insert whatever takes skill> and the entire game is built on the lowest common player. It then copied CoD with all these unlocks, attachments, and camos. Then they go and implemented Battlepacks so you can pay to win. I wont even mention a single player in Battlefield. That is just wrong in itself. I went to get help on the forums for BF3 and the site sucks and is just a bunch of trolls and no one that helps you.
I'm sure captqbec isn't thinking all those things, but I think that covers it all so it is in there somewhere.

I'm confused. Is DICE the deck? Do they have the deck? Or is DICE the private as in Private DICE?

Also, I'm actually upset I don't have BF4 yet. I really want to play it, faults and all given how much fun (amongst the frustration and anger) I keep hearing my friends having on TeamSpeak.

I don't have a gaming rig anymore because finding a job has been proving rather difficult for a 19 year old immigrant...

I have the game now. I've played a few rounds of MP. It feels like a better game compared to BF3 but holy hell at the bugs. Literally already experienced a looping sound crash, extremely glitchy sound on some dam map where the sound just completely cut out for 75% of the round, and another bug that was some high-pitched tone but I had no lock on nor anything currently equipped that could lock on that came and went a few times through a few rounds.

Game ran really well though. All settings on Ultra, AA on "low", HBAO, etc... something like 160ish FPS on that one map with a radar dish, at which point I simply turned on v-sync for a rock solid 60FPS.

EDIT: GOD DAMN IT! I wanted to do like one level of the SP before I went to bed. Already had one squad member repeatedly falling through the world geometry which halted story progression for about five minutes while I wandered around looking for a trigger to move the story forward without resetting.

And THEN as the helicopter is attacking, their dialogue gets halted, so I get gunned down and then my game just crashes. Un... believable. This game has been out how long now?

                      Almost two weeks.

I'm surprised you're having problems with the single player. I don't know if anyone has had issues with that. Not a good sign.

Day 2. After yesterday's SP fiasco, I have not gone back to it yet, though I know I have to just to unlock weapons for MP

More multiplayer was played. ... Another sound loop lock/crash happened. Temps were all fine across the board (CPU cores were around 50C max, GPU was around 70C max). My sound drivers were updated just a couple of days ago to the latest. Video drivers are latest 331.65 for my 770.

It's frustrating. Another person I play with has an apparent memory leak somehow where his 16GB of RAM is near maxed out after a while of playing and isn't freed up until he restarts his computer. A third person I play with just outright crashes sometimes. We all seem to have unique issues that have yet to be resolved.

Now, today's upcoming update "supposedly" addresses a lot of crash issues, so I guess I'll see later on if any of those issues are resolved. I can only imagine how annoyed I'd be if I had this at launch when there were even more issues to deal with.

It's really a weird time when I've had a far more stable experience with Call of Duty: Ghosts SP and MP.

                          Hey Zips,

On that sound issue, you might try this:

                          GstAudio.AudioQuality 4

change it from 0 or 1 to that above in your PROFSAVE_profile file
Some others mentioned doing a clean install of the video drivers, but I dont see how that would work unless the NVidia audio files that are bundled are causing it.

                          Anyway, something to try.

It's only on specific maps that the sound issue happens. And one I know for sure is the map with the dam and it impacts everyone I play with. It really sounds like an issue that DICE needs to address because as far as I've seen I'm not alone in this issue, same as the looping crash.

I guess I could try it but I'll wait to see if today's patch did anything first before I go screwing around with crap I shouldn't have to do.
