Unlike music stars going with the main character with some famous movie stars then crashing in flames, this one is having a small appearance in a not AAA rating movie.

She was already an acclaimed opera singer long before she did that voice. Plus she was already in nine games prior to the Pacific Rim. Why they decided to give her the same digitized type voice for this though... That just seems like typecasting at best, or a cheap attempt at attracting gamers to watch this at worst.

I dont like it. It doesnt look like that would fit in the movie and Im waiting to see a portal open or a little turret say something.

Yeah guys, I really though there was some relation between them, but yeah this is very weird. Don't they have to pay to valve for their rights or something? or using just the voice is not a problem?

After a research it is not a coincidence but an assumed geek cameo choice ftom Del Toro as z big Valve fan.
