Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
yea, i still have that turd of a game sitting right here, such a shame, it had loads of potential but was clearly rushed out the door.
Well, duh. They wanted to take all that COD money. Which never works. You can't take or steal a games people from them. It works for a short time, but they always go back. Look at WoW. There is like a MMO every 6- 8 months that trys to take people from it. They might get a few people, but never enough to take away from the millions. Or keep them for a long time. This game is not going to keep making new stuff. They see how many people are playing. So, if we have new content like DLC. And people are not playing the game much. Why would you waste time making DLC? In order for this game to keep going strong it needs millions or million strong of people playing per week. Not, a few thousand.
Game is running just fine on my 360. Haters gonna hate!
Nah but if it were up to me I'd be playing this on PC. I have no clue as to what the experience is like for you guys but on my end things are pretty peachy. Always tons of servers to pick from. Only downside is no real "servers" with names and their own map rotations.
I barely play and while I could blame it on the game not keeping me into it, I realize it's that no game is going to keep me into it. I rainbow six rogue spear the originals religiously, then I played bf2 almost just as religiously. I'm just burned out after playing Nintendo from when I was a little kid to being almost 30 now. I'm becoming one of those people who play video games maybe 1 to 10 hours a week and I'm fine with that. I still find bf3 to be a fun game.
Personally I think a lot of this BF3 hate is misguided. A lot of times, especially the "CoDfield" complaints are often about subjects that CoD doesn't even do, nor acknowledge as existing. That and if you have played CoD you will see how bad it could be if they truly were that stupid.

I think the BF3 hate is perfectly fine. What made battlefield great was being able to use vehicles in huge warzones and work as a team. In BF3, they decided that vehicles weren't important, and nor were large maps. Air power is lame as hell, we might see 1 tank in a map getting cornered in streets, not engaging the one other tank on the map. All the flags are 50 feet away from each other, so there goes the huge convo's of vehicles and squads racing to capture flags. Gone are the Highway Tampa days of 5 or so tanks coming over the hills and engaging a flag from afar, covering the squads as they took the flag, the enemy jets coming in for bombing runs trying to help their team defend the flag, etc. It's turned into urban combat, where it's spawn, and die, repeat. Snipers are useless now because of the COD-esque after kill cam giving away the players position. The deliberate forcing of players into bottle necks, which can't be circumvented by team work. The perks system. This game tried to be COD. If I wanted COD, I'd buy it, and so would the other players hating on BF3.
BF3 is no battlefield game...I even purchased B2K in hopes it would give me the good ol' feeling...but it feels so wrong...so wrong....some decision-making idiots at DICE should be elsewhere....
...what's next, Battlefield on the WII....???
...what a scorching and dissapointing failure this POS bf game is....
DICE fell into temptation of implementing the perfect deathmatch model. To be honest, with the sales numbers of CoD4 onwards, Infinity Ward has successfully surpassed Quake 3 as the new generation of deathmatch (Treyarch improved, but didn't invent). How long this trend will go before a new model surpasses this one is unknown, but it makes sense to see DICE try to create a larger scale version of it and gain a portion of this generation's market. Reason why Metacritic has such a low user score is because it's the only voice with any real impact. Petitions? E-mails? Twitter? Please... Sales numbers speak louder than our words.
So we might as well vote 0 instead of 70-80% (which is the more honest answer even if I don't agree with it myself) if we want our complaints to be noticed. I mean, Mr. Bowling promised a new tech in the engine and new innovative unique gameplay, and all we got is the CEO not being an arrogant jerk as the only change. False assurances no longer working, we complain, but doing our best to ignore how polished the multiplayer is (because we ALREADY know how polished it is; it's frickin' Groundhog's Day all over again year after year, yet our money seems to diminish more and more). This model is no longer about art, but rather functionality. It's extremely functional business-wise, but lacks creativity. Totally worth it.
If art is superior to the most polished and functional deathmatch model (to date), then independant developers would've defeated mainstream developers by now. VGAs wouldn't have sucked so hard (this time, I don't think the votes were rigged minus Zelda). Sigh, I hang my head in shame.

I see you too wear the goggles. BF2 had no more teamwork in it than BF3 does, or 2142, or BC2. In the Battlelog forums there are many threads that talk about how there are too many vehicles and how they are overpowered.
With the friends I play with, we have convoys and go racing to flags and cause destruction and mayhem in BF3. We have a great time doing it.
I do agree that the game tried to compete with CoD. Thats the thing with industries, you tend to mimic the leader of it and try to bring in elements of the game to draw in more of the crowd. Good or bad, it is what it is.
I also dont feel the hate is perfectly fine. What did you all expect? There was leaked alpha, news on it, an open beta, news on it, more news about it. Video coverage on it. Then the game is released and all we hear is "This isnt BF2!!!" Blinders full steam ahead!
Even Rambo whines about how small the maps are and what does he do? He plays Operation Metro with a Shotgun until B2K is released. Seems like thats what he wants to play. Perhaps DICE looks at that as well and goes "Hmmm, complains about it, but plays it that way. Guess thats whaty they want and theyre just whining."
Why does this sound like Counter-Strike all over again? To be dissatisfied with a game you can't get enough of in the most ironic sense...? That's an interesting response.
Why is everybody wearing pink-tinted happy goggles? I joined an EU clan called Monkey-Gamers back in 2008 or so because there was no teamwork in BF2 and Bf2142, then that was the same for Call of Duty and BC2. There is no more or less teamwork than in other games. Actually, I think there's more teamwork in BF3 than in BC2. I see a lot more people dropping med kits and ammo crates.
BF3 is a major hit. It has amazing graphics, and fantastic gameplay for the most part. It really does also give you a bonus for playing as a team. You can one-man it but it rewards you much more and provides nearly unstoppable combos for people using teamwork.
Every Battlefield game that ever came out starting with BF2 got the same treatment as BF3. 1 - THIS IS AMAZING then a few hours or days later the hate begins.
