Yeah, thing is though, there are so many M16 and AK variants that it's extremely difficult to recognize them all, especially since such little things determine the model difference.
I thought that last M16-looking sniper rifle was an SR25.

Isn't the Mk 11 the USMC version of the SR25? (AKA M110. Also, I have heard that the USMC have dropped the Mk designation for their version of the SR25)
I have no idea. I also find it retarded if it is the case. Keep it to one name, simplifies the paperwork in my opinion.
well SR25 is the Company designaton (as well as a sort of portmanteau of AR10 and AR15) which means that its M110 across the board I guess. Though the USMC's use of the Mark Designations may be just to distance themselves from the army.
Wait, could be one of the variants. From that angle, the magazine looks long so it could be one of the 7.62x39 100 series variants like the AK-103, but unsure if it has the AK74 Muzzle brake.
Considering this image was taken from the Battlelog news and there's no AK-103 in BF3, it can only be the AK74M (even though sometimes they don't model the weapon exactly like its irl counterpart, like the HK416 in BC2).
That makes sense. They have another one below it. They must be showing the different items on it. Its from the AK family for sure and the muzzle break looks like the one I have on my SKS.
You did fine. Like I said before, some of the pics I put in there so it wasnt a cake walk. Notice how no one got them all right and no one got them all wrong.
