Yeah Jimmy, Red gave me the idea. I thought it would be fun to see how much we can really identify the weapons in our games.
Sorry guys, as stated above, I rechecked every model of weapon with other official gun sites and the AK47 is correct, though over the years the modifications of it has spawned other names and chosing AKS47 would still have been correct for this poll. The important thing is not to confuse it with the 74u, which some people would argue the 74u is just the 47 designed for spec-ops and para-military. However, in this poll, they would be wrong
I chose that SKS pic because its tricked out. Its obviously an SKS after you identify its length, 10 round magazine clip, and gas chamber. Its probably the butt stock and shotgun-like grip that is throwing people off. Mine doesnt look like that though, but more traditional and it is a lot longer than my AK47.
Interesting side note, all internal parts including gas chamber of the SKS and AK47 is entirely interchaneable, though the SKS bolt and firing pin are heavier. Which sucks because I cant use practice rounds in my SKS without them jamming.
And on my side note, I wasnt entirely correct. You cannot change out the bolt itself between the AK47 and SKS as they are a bit different in size, but everything else, even trigger.

Actually I think #11 is the testing version of the SA80/L85 called the XL70 IW or something of that sort Due to the use of the Straight STANAG and the Oddly shaped handguard. Can't find much info on it. It was in one of my dads 80's weapon Identification books. It was developed from a rifle chambered in 4.85mm or so.
