No, now your browser is your browser. There is still a browser, just instead of a normal browser in-game, it's in your browser. Just open up your browser, log in, and then click on the link to the browser. The server that you selected from the browser should now load straight from your browser. If you like, you can probably use the Origin browser to browse servers on the browser, but you probably won't be able to join it from that browser. You could need to take the URL from the server (the browser assigned each server a URL in the alpha), and then open that URL in your browser, and it should take you to the server in the browser, which you can then load from your browser.

I get it and i seen some screens, we will have a game menu and a origin menu? or is it just one main menu?yes i am confussed a bit lol.

I understand origin is just the same as EA online? or will we still have that too?

Color me surprised. I could of told you that BF3 was going to require Origin months ago...in fact I made the Origin buddy (sticky) list above months ago because I had a strong hunch EA would do this. No more having to repopulate your buddy list for future BF games, look at how well Steamworks games worked out with buddy lists in games like the Call of Duty series.

Also:

When you sign into origin with your EA Account, the gamertag you have on that account tied to the email address becomes your in-game nick.

Rambo: For the alpha we logged into Battlelog which I accessed from Firefox but you might use a different web browser and was able to choose a server from there. We were also able to look at our in game stats and some other things I can't recall. Now they might add a in server server list for the retail game but not sure. And yes Origin used to be EA online.

Does that mean you log in to Origin and if some of your buddies are on a specific server you can join them that way instead of starting up the game and then look for your m8tes? I like that. That way you can check the status of your favourite server and join if you want. Instead of now where you start up the game just to find your favourite servers 100% full or no players at all.
What I would like next is being able to see a full list of maps in rotation on a specific server.
I personally like the Ols Swedish Gunners server but it is the same 6 maps over and over again. It would be fun to play Isla innocentes once in a while.

Also, Origin will automatically load and open, so you don't actually have to load Battlelog through that. You can favorite the website (it was http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/gate/) and just load that through your browser. You log in and it brings up Battlelog, which looks like Facebook. From there you can talk to your friends, see where they are playing, give them "Hooah"s, post provocative messages on their wall, etc. In Battlelog there is a tap for the server browser. The browser was actually better than anyone I've seen in a Battlefield game. Then you can pick your server and click play, and then a box pops up in Battlelog that says "Connecting" and whatever. After a short time, the BF3 window loads in the background and starts loading the map. Once the map is fully loaded, you click "Play" in that little window and it will open the game and you will be at the respawn screen. Alternatively, you can click on the game earlier and watch the map load, or you can select it to automatically open when ready.

Origin was the EA Download manager, now its trying to become a service similar to Steam, but only featuring EA games.

You will be able to create in-game personas.

Maybe you will be able to reserve your username in the beta. Sometimes they delete all the names, other times they let you keep them.
