What I'm worried about the beta is if they're going to screw people who bought MoH by releasing it everywhere at the same time.
They better give us a week or two before it goes live for everyone.

I don't think they ever said they would give early access to the beta, just guaranteed access.

From what we have seen, it is.

I dont think its a poor choice because its for the beta and there may be some vehicles added. Its an easy way to test weapons, levels on a map, lighting (above/below ground and transitions), destruction, and heavy action in close quarters as well as a different mode other than conquest. You also wouldnt have people whoring vehicles or standing in line for something and actually have to play the beta.

Now if it was for the DEMO, then yeah, it would be a poor choice for sure.

Besides, as late as the beta is, they are probably going to do like they did with BC2 and have a day 1 patch with the fixes.

I'm sure they would want feedback from the community on how the vehicles work and if they can be improved. And there are often bugs with vehicles.

Yeah, they might. Or they might argue with the PC players that the helis are fine the way they are and flares work.

that carrier reminds me of noobs stucking the carrier there in bf1942(i've done it myself a few times x) )!! i think the artwork was inspired by it!

Last time I heard the beta will be open, so you don't have to worry about getting a spot. The MoH:LE only gets you in earlier.

I bought the MOH:LE when it first came out and I still haven't received a beta confirmation email yet.

No you didn't have to pre-order it. I bought it right off the shelf and it said I had access to the BF3 beta because I bought the limited edition.

Isn't Metro infantry only?
I think that would be a poor choice for a Battlefield demo, but maybe they could do both Metro and a full scale map.

Yeah if this is the map we get in demo, it will set a tone that this is not a BF game at all IMO:thumpdown:

Looking at my copy of Medal of honor Tier 1 Edition (another type of special edition I got at EBgames, which is gamestop I believe for you yanks) the top left corner says:

"Beta Invitation included
Battlefield 3
see back for details"

and the back says: "Beta offer is contingent on Beta availability within 12 months of Medal of honor release. Beta will be a vailable for a limited time only, and offer expires upon close of beta events. Participation in beta requires acceptance of Beta agreements. Must be 18+"

But yeah, its not a preorder bonus, its just a Special edition bonus. Though that last bit sorta scares me (Im only 17) but I guess my older brother will be "Signing up"

I don't think it will. They will probably vary it as we have seen too much of the same map already, in the E3 demo's and the Alpha. I think for the Beta they will at least vary things up a bit for the Alpha users, as us non Alpha players theoretically don't know of its existence, or something.
