i doubt the beta will be a map from a 4 map karkand DLC pack which isn't even coming out until after the game.

well i think the beta will be on another map that is not metro. Atleast in BFBC2 the beta from the console had a different map than the one in the pc. so i guess they will change it to show a little more once they come to actual public betas. Still it was only an E3 limited play in an alpha version so who knows

Isn't Metro infantry only?
I think that would be a poor choice for a Battlefield demo, but maybe they could do both Metro and a full scale map.

I had a blast with it in BF2's demo! It would be great to show off land, sea, and air in BF3. I'm really curious how the carrier is going to be?

From what we have seen, it is.

I dont think its a poor choice because its for the beta and there may be some vehicles added. Its an easy way to test weapons, levels on a map, lighting (above/below ground and transitions), destruction, and heavy action in close quarters as well as a different mode other than conquest. You also wouldnt have people whoring vehicles or standing in line for something and actually have to play the beta.

Now if it was for the DEMO, then yeah, it would be a poor choice for sure.

Besides, as late as the beta is, they are probably going to do like they did with BC2 and have a day 1 patch with the fixes.

What I'm worried about the beta is if they're going to screw people who bought MoH by releasing it everywhere at the same time.
They better give us a week or two before it goes live for everyone.

Its a beta. Buying MoH got you in for sure so you dont have to scrounge for a key or hope for the best. Congrats on that!

what are you talking about? metro has the LAV, they showed it tearing through the park in paris just before the map goes underground.

Yeah, so there is a little bit of vehicle, which the BC2 beta also had a few things in it as well.

Console beta was Arica Harbor; PC beta was Port Valdez, so PC got to test the choppers, one small vehicle, quads, one russian AA vehicle and both tanks.

Console only got tanks, quads and humvees.
