Really wish they'd at least go to five classes, four is not enough. Need the support kit back to take the LMG's away from medics and the ammo away from assault.

I don't mind 4 classes at all, but I'm pretty curious as for how they're going to make it work. I don't want medics with LMGs either. The 2142 system was decent, but medics shouldn't have any sort of rockets or grenade launchers at all imo.

I wonder if they should change engineer to support, and make it that its either a medic or an engy/anti tank guy, but you cant have the RPG with the medkits.

Or maybe assault have the choice between assault rifle+GL or LMG? Or something like that but I hope a class don't have the LMG+medic/antitank equipment at the same time.

@HarryYTM Yes, we have fire arms appropriate fire mode selection in all modes of BF3.

Its been around a few days now. BF3 wil have fire modes.

Well didn't that already have that in other bf games? I know in 2142 if you use the voss you can switch it up.

sorry if this has been answered before but i have been on vacation for a week, but is there any word on the factions involved? is it only USMC and MEC or is china and EU involved?

I know the usmc are in involved and I think it was the mec. They did the russians last time so I doubt it will be in bf3
