Playing only Medic(LMGs' are incredibly accurate on full auto)&burst_fire_weapons(assault - they don't have much spread because their lower rate of fire makes them more "foolproof"), it's easy to forget that this is a Battlefield game and weapons gain more spread per every shot!!

LMGs' are still OP, that's my opinion. They should be less accurate when moving and their sight in time should be slower as well.
The only two LMGs' that have been nerfed lately are MG3 (but only at close range so who cares?) and M60 which has been given PKM-like damage despite having lower rof, higher spread and more recoil, so it's totally outclassed by it right now

I could write a book about his negligence, poor experiments on community and his LOLWUT attitude on twitter. The very first time I looked at the raw data after BC2 had been released(v1.0), I was like "are they for real? There were mistakes not even my grandmother would have done and she's dead so that's saying something

The thing is, he was the person who balanced BF2142, and aside from the odd gun (krylov) that was perfectly balanced, in all honesty you have to think he was forced to go out and please the console crowd.

Although his attitude has been a bit sour.

pk rocets weren't balanced
in all of my fps gaming, they were likely the most OP'd weapons i've seen. noob tube with more rounds, more magazines, resupplies quick and pretty lethal and accurate.

also frags were pretty OP'd too.

LOL MG36 is ridiculously accurate and powerful with a built in red dot, yet more people use gustav.

The M60 is still top notch. MG3's RoF is unchallenged!

I dropped recon class for a bit and picked up medic, boy! What a great class!

Whatever happened to medics having a gun that a medic would have? Instead of combining a medic and a support gunner...

Which is just stupid. Support gunners are big targets to enemies, medics should avoid being targets to enemies.

It depends on the unit. Typically you will either have a M16 (most common) or a pistol.

As a medic you are not authorized M60's, M203's, etc., only weapons for personal defense (not offensive type).

As for what weapon you will have to qualify with in 68W school - NONE. Weapons qualification is done in basic and in your permanent party station, not in 68W school.

You can read the reset of the posts, but everyone agrees that in real life, the medic gets a sidearm and/or M16/M4.

It would add alot to gameplay if the medic was more realistic and a squad had to support them to stay alive and advance. A m-16, pistol, grenade, and shank is enough defense.
