If you like the M14 Hendrix wait till you get the FAL. Its basically the M14 with better accuracy, very little recoil and good iron sights

Only downside is that around 90% of the time you will lose a close quarters gun fight. Python speed loader can help overcome this though

I use the M14 because I like semi auto guns, I have the python speed loader its wicked. When I unlock the FN FAL I will change to that, not cus its good, just cus it looks cool. Reminds me of the G3 on COD4, beastly gun.

i used the m14 until i got the FAL, but there are only a few maps where a semi auto rifle is a good idea. the m16 is a nice inbetween from semi and auto and it reloads fast too.

G11 is a better option than the M16, but you have to be 44 or whatever because its the classified gun

Well, I (and from what I've read, many others) have found it pretty much impossible to hear enemy footsteps, even with music sounds turned way down.

Luckily Treyarch have stated they are working on a fix

So you mean they're fixing Ninja by making non-Ninja footsteps louder? Because yeah, the perk really isn't that useful if you don't need it to prevent other players from hearing you.

That's what we can assume. The dev's on the BO forums state they are in progress of "Additional fine-tuning of audio levels and ranges for footsteps and gunfire".

I dont think i have ever heard anyone elses footsteps or come to mention it, gunfire other than my own :s

I hear footsteps okay when I'm not running. I also hear gunfire, including silenced gunfire, and the sound of the laptops when arming/disarming the bomb. I can also find jammers and motion sensors without Hacker by listening for the sound they make.

Ah yes i can hear that all ok when im not running as then all i can hear is my own footsteps :s

I never really hear footsteps, even if I stand still. I usually hear gun sounds (reloading, gunfire) or the grunt someone makes when they mantle now.
