What happened to M416?

I've been away for a few months and came back just a few days ago. I used to like an-94 out of all assault rifles the most, but now I much prefer the 416. It seems much improved since the last time I used it.. Yet I don't see any patch notes specifically buffing it. All the other AR's seem the same just as I remember them.

Anybody can shed the light on this? Or is it only my perception?

I've been saying this for ages.

The M416 was/is one of the best assault rifles in the same. That's why its my first platinum.

No it's your perception, and even if some are still a little better all ARs can do a good job now. I earned a gold star with all assaut rifle and even with the AEK you can do well vs others. My first plat is on the AN94 and I'm now switching for the M16.

Yeah, M416 was my first platinum as well. Its a great weapon and they have done nothing to it.

Hmm, that's strange. I used to do much better with an-94 and m16 over long distances, that's why I didn't really like 416 much. But now I can pretty much snipe with it as well as with an-94. Must be my new mouse pad or something..

Mouse pads are the most underrated PC gaming asset ever. I've been using a huge metal Razor one for ages, and I could never go back to using a cloth mouse pad.

I was using the same mouse pad for 15 years but the rubber was all destroyed. I'm using a WoW mouse pad now (plastic on the surface) since one month or two, it's ok, no more no less.

nah the M416 is still good, imo the XM8P feels better from the hip but that hasn't stopped me murdering people with the M416

now the only gun they need to fix is the M16 and assault will be good

I don't like the XM8 as much, it seems to have more recoil and takes more bullets to kill. The 416 has a nice controlled flow of things and it barely has any recoil at all.

the AEK is a beast i am close to plating it. my second assault rifle to plat after the m16 lol.

The AEK doesn't have enough oomph behind it for me to enjoy it.

now that noobakan is nerfed, m416 is probably the best AR in the game.
