Also I'm not alone with these micro-lag, after asking in the chat of different servers a lot of people have micro lag.

I really like the patch, hit reg/boxes are so much better.

And already a few hackusations involving the pump shottys & M1 Garand

This can most likely be attributed to the amount of people downloading the patch, the micro lag should clear up within the next 24 hours.

Now this is just my opinion, but it does make since that we would see a bit of lag over the next day or so due to so many updating the servers and the clients as well.

I just installed the patch but unfortunately I hadn't completed the campaign, and now all my progress has been lost. I had about 2 more levels to complete, and now I have to start from the beginning. Why would a patch wipe out all your save games?

I've got the lag problem too, but chock it up to the servers being slammed right now.

The only problem I've found is that the crosshairs on the Gol are gone. The verticla line is still there, but the horizontal line is missing.

Yeah I had some lag issues with all the servers.

On a positive note: HIT-BOXES! WOW! I felt like shooting a FAV in BF2142 when I m aiming at an infantry. Unfortunately, the opposite is true as well.

I think it will finally cause me to not play anymore since it looks like it ruined my favorite map and sniper spot. Just played Panama Canal and couldn't find a safe zone in the back fence area. So once again DICE has the policy of changing random things that didn't need to be changed in the first place, and apparently listen to the vocal minority since I haven't heard anyone complain about that map or area.

so for me the game runs a lot better. I used to have this lame lag that would cause a 1 - 2 second delay when I'd die/get a kill and it was so annoying. That's finally gone. Also, my FPS is better too. I definitely like the new toggle crouch. The chat seems like it could have been done a bit better, though.

I can't really tell if the hit boxes are any better, since I never had a problem with them before, but overall I can finally enjoy this game more lol

And first and only gun I tried before quitting out of disappointment was the GOL, and its scope crosshairs were glitched. Unless it's a feature for it to be missing the horizontal line.

played a couple of rounds, hit reg still felt horribly poor (shoot blood, shoot blood, shoot blood zzz)

I am not even sure why I was expecting this to make the game playable again, back to bf2.

you think bf2 has better hitreg?

jumped in a server and tried the heli for a bit on an atacama (empty server) the dam thing would actually move, hell maybe now I won't just have to hover miles above my target waiting for the ******* gunner to fire, I can actually get into position for more strafing runs

hit reg wise I can't comment, didn't play that part of the game (will do tommorow) but from what I understand the hitbox expanding is a simplistic way of putting it, when the player moves forward for instance their hitbox lags behind them creating an area at the front of the model that when hit will not absorb damage, the expanded hitbox covers that area, so it essentially does make you a bigger target but compensates for lag

I will make my verdict after I play, hopefully it isn't ****tard easy to kill people, I never had any problems with hit reg unless I was lagging, and there would be no trouble for me as long as I found a good server with good reg and no lag

reminds me of CSS in that regard

still can't believe there is no M16 reversion, Demize needs to play the ****ing game as well before some of these balance tweaks

I want to try the MG3 lol, I was thinking of using it as medic, perhaps with magnum, but now I might just stick to the normal mode, I bet craploads of people are using it after they saw it got a dmg buff
