Yes and funny I just posted about the possible reason there is no 43 for PC is they are converting it into an expansion.

This obviously means more delay time for BF3 as well. Focus seems to be totally on MOH ans BC2 Vietnam. I hope they mention something about BF3 during this week, but it is just hope.

The booster packs only had 3 maps and a few vehicles. Take 4 maps, all "new" weapons, vehicles, some new patches/pins/ribbons, BAM 1943 Expansion pack.

Well, I dont know what people want to be honest and I dont think they do either. Many shout for new maps and more maps and then when they come out, servers stick with 24/7 Wake/Karkand/Gibraltar. More game modes come out and most servers stay TDM/Conquest. Booster packs and no one wants to buy them. This isnt just Battlefield, its like that in CoD and I am sure many other titles.

I think 6-8 is a good size expansion pack. BF2:SF had 8 and two became dominate. Though Karkand was dominate, there were actually 4 or 5 maps you could usually find all the time.

If they do make 1943 an expansion (which I think they should btw) with 4 maps, new weapon loadouts, new vehicle skins, and the awards, it wouldnt be that bad of an expansion pack for $10 to $15. They were going to charge $15 for it anyway for it to be on the exact same engine and setup BC2 already is at.

What would be funny if 1943 expansion pack is on our harddrives right now and we just need to unlock it I bet people would rage quite.

                    Re: Vietnam add-on?

Yep, its just like WoW (World of Warcraft), they come out with a new expansion and it generally costs $50-$60 for each expansion. This would appear that the Vietnam version is not a add on, but a full on game of its own, that will most likely not have mapping abilities or modding abilities either, as we are seeing what could be the end of that era. Now they have "map packs" that are costing $15 as shown for MW2. This is possibly the way of the future for gaming in FPS.

                    Just my 2cents.

OMG, I really thoguht the game would be 15€ max. I hope Amazon is wrong, I won't pay 60$ for a BF:V remake unless they add back all they taked (prone etc) and add some sweet things.

didn't someone say it was a 4 map game? or was that just a guess? i didn't think this was going to be a full blown game but if those prices are correct, it's not just some expansion.

See its write ups like this that bug me, they are calling it an add on with 4 maps. $60 for a add on, I think there is a pricing error here.

They are calling it a MOH problem with Amazon.

That will be $100 AUD Dollars,I'm not paying full price for 4 maps!....heck! 8 (smaller)maps gets me bored pretty soon.

I dont want the future to be 4 map games and wait or buy them(maps) later.

So far,EA have said 4 maps.things may change but it will be a shame. Then again i want them to finish these mini games so they can build BF3 for us PC guys.<(hopes and dreams?).

IF we buy 4 map games will they even want to make a 64 BF3?

Even if this was really good, i wouldnt really feel inclined to buy it, even at $15.
