BFBC2 Suicide Buggy/Jihad Jeeps. Your take on them?

Lately I've been a victim of Jihading and suicide attacks.

I know many servers in BF2142 ban this, should we allow it in BFBC2?

Just wondering.

My opinion? Well if it's in game, by all means, use it.

I dont get the big deal with jihadding, its a simple, effective, and legit tactic. Dice developers even spoke of it as an example of something in BF once.

I like it very much and it reflects to real world VBIEDs. So I think it should stay and this game looks so much more fun to do it in than any other BF game.

I know where I'm going to be tomorrow -> BF-BC2 24/7 Atacama Desert !

To be honest I haven't had any problem with people doing suicide runs at me or my team mates except on the MCOMS in Rush mode. Even doing it on Rush mode I have seen it only about 10 times total with a vehicle and all but 2 of those tries failed. I see people using the UAV to blow up the MCOMS way more often.

It's a lot easier to do in BC2 because the ATV keeps moving for quite a while after you jump off. It wasn't like that in BF2.

Because I usually find myself dead before I can get that 3rd RPG-7 shot in that tank.

Now I found a new use for ATVs :)

Maybe I'll stick a few on my ATV and ram into enemy flag and detonate :-)

Totally legit. I laugh when people complain about it. If you couldn't destroy the vehicle before it reached you, you deserve to be blown up.

Nothing really wrong with it tbh, easy enough to stop as light vehicles aren't very good at not making noise. My only beef is I was in a tank once, shot a would be jihad-jeeper and got vehicle destroy points, he just managed to bail and still detonated the C4, which was on the wreck of the jeep that had landed nearby. Surely a direct tank hit should set off the C4? and there was definitely at least a second in between vehicle destroy and C4 boom. Not sure if it was just a freak thing though.

I find it okay even though it's no realistic, but hey nothing in this game is realistic. I think it puts a little spunk and fun play into a game where people bash you for doing things out of the ordinary.

Did you also know that an ATV carrying C4 is more easy to destroy because the explosions can cause the c4 to detonate on the spot!

I just don't like em coming behind me or from the side, since i can't turn my turret fast enough or maneuver out of the way!
