Is this a joke? Think AK but more accurate than m16 and you have something similar to AN-94. The AEK is even better than the AN-94.

I want a British Musket, one shot, 3 minutes of plumbing job, 1 minute of adding gun powder, 1 minute of draw time.

Makes you really appreciate every single bullet :) Oh, calculate the bullet drop too :)

I proudly raise my hand as a M2 Gustav abuser. (Plat star) But the nerf made no difference to me. I aim within few steps of the target, so that 4 m blast radius reduced to around 2 m makes no difference. The only difference I see is no more long range sniping shots.

Why did they do it to G3? Now I can't use Recon anymore (I stink at sniping), or I can stick to M14. But no close combat capabilities.

As for the 40 mm, most pub players use this like shotgun, then the comical part is when they can't predict the parabola arc. Not much of a problem to me.

Why did they touch M16? That gun was just perfect. It was like a M4A1 in semi-auto.

I just discovered the AN-94 + 4x Sight, my god, all the sniper rifles seem so useless now.

I myself am an utter 40mm shotgun whore, since I platinumed the noob tube (I did it at rank 35, no I am not a noob tube hero) and I love it, but the patch, my god

it already had an extremely limited range, half the time would mega fail anyway and one speck of bad hitreg and it would fail again, but dam it is useful for those quick combat kills and delivering the knockout BAM

the other nerfs were extremely lolworthy, the G3; never needed one

the M16, never needed one, no complaints about the weapon at all, the AN94 was buffed anyway, now the M16 is more or less useless

the stupidity extends into other areas, like increasing the tracer dart speed and not even seeing if the flares worked

but the entire balance patch was done by Demize, a console player who knows nothing about the PC version and simply made all of the changes by looking at a spreadsheet that shows less than helpful crap like damage per second and killing time, without even playing the game

because if he had he might have realised how incredibly DUMB some of the changes were

but yes AN94 rape for all, it doesn't have any competition is the main problem, or a lack of bullet spread, need the old M16,G3,40mm SGN back

I always use the 40 mike mike shotgun. I wish the 40mm attachments were gadgets instead of something always on the weapon. I'd love a standard (properly modeled) M16A2 with like, ammo boxes or 40 mike mike gadget. So if you give up the ammo for the grenade launcher, you will only have 2 40mms.

Oh well, I'm not the lead designer so my little voice here will never be heard.

The G3 is actually quite good, I understand why they nerfed it. But nobody used it anyway.

Yep that's the thing, no one use those weapons except 1-2 guys so nerf them (because you need the word nerf somewhere in the changelog) and buff the popular ones so the majority is happy. Dice is really clever.

I have only just got my internet back and i really cant gather the effort to play this game anymore after what i have heard from the last patch. It sounds terrible, M16 nerf, AN94 buff, 400mm Shotgun nerf??! G3 nerf??!!

Not to mention the mortar and the sniper rifles, i really dont get it. Such a shame for what for me was a cracking game.

Yeah, some of the nerfs were wtf-worthy. Was the G3 and 40mm shotgun so overpowered that everyone used them? I only know of one guy that used the 40mm shotty (to his credit he used it to great effect) and I think I was in total killed fewer than 5 times by the G3. As for ARs, on the off chance I got killed by one of those instead of by a tosser with a 40mm noobtoob, it was usually the AN-94, so they made it better? Make the already-popular weapons better, and make the ones that nobody uses worse? srsly? o_O

I reused the Garand after the patch and made a 15:5 with it, it's a good weapon but not good to the point I use over others weapons especially since the kill count doesn't work.

Simple principle: If it kills fast and often, use it.

Garand takes a lot of skill to use, it has a small clip, small iron sight, semi-auto, I'm not an elitist, if it's impractical, I leave it aside.

Who cares if everyone uses the same weapon, I could honestly give two F's if they only put 1 gun in the damn game as long as it was a good one.
