Yes but when you look at the stats it has say approx. half the amount of damage as the AN94 but double the ROF. Therefore by the time i have released 2 shots of damage the AN94 has only released 1 of the same amount of damage. If you get my drift.

I always thought the default assault (AEK) was the worst. Takes a full clip to down someone. Then there's the F2000, spray bullets everywhere except where you aim.

That's because you don't use magnum bullets. It's amazing with magnum bullets. I use it all the time when I'm on the Russian team (Since I use the real weapon whatever team would use, I like it that way, more realistic.) Great assault rifle, the first rounds always hit where you aim, so two short bursts and your target is down.

XM8 is I'm USMC, sometimes M416. The XM8 + ACOG + Magnum = headshot rape! It's so easy to get headshots on this game, so the XM8 is truly a weapon of mass destruction, even worse than the M60 when used right. It's perfect to outrange snipers too.

The F2000 is useless in every scenario possible, even CQB. When you're close enough to need the F2000 you might as well use the aimbot-knife.

The AN-94 is pretty pointless, the M16A2 as well.


I'd like to take this moment to be a little more serious and say; Dice, I hate your darn guts you annoying jerks. You just had to put the M16 and M416 ejection ports on the wrong side eh? I don't know which others are wrong since I didn't check but that's just plain retarded.

This isn't CS you stupid arcade noobs, even Call of Duty get it right !

I agree totally on the AEK though, I decided to go back and get gold on it, and it is simply a really good gun, I used it with the 4x scope and double taps were deadly, bursts etc, it could even go fully auto very nicely

but yer the models are wrong, I think I read somewhere they wanted to make the guns more interesting visually? As in you see them moving etc etc

Whoever voted for the Aug is smoking rock. That gun is beast. I must say, The f2000 was an awesome gun in bf2. I'd put it on single shot kill people in mass. It was my gun of choice before I quit playing. It's not so great in BC2

I wonder if its because the F2000 really is that bad or if its because we all compare it to the BF2 version, which was awesome.

I just think it's because it is that bad. In bf2 it just felt like a great gun. It had a nice big crosshair and on singleburst it was a killer. I wonder if they put the G36e in bc2 if it would be leet?

Haha, not sure whats wrong with the people saying the AN-64 and the M16 suck... The M16 is seriously legit, and the AN-64 is a unique and very solid weapon.

Finally got a silver star with F2000 and got the 10-silver-star insignia. I must say that, without good knowledge of AN-94, M416 and M16, F2000 isn't that bad, not M93R bad. It is an inferior weapon to AN-94 and M16. I never win a fire fight to those two, but held my own against other ARs. The problem is that it stands no chance against any SMG and most LMG. It's not the fastest killer, but it does have low recoil. Best work with red dot at short to medium range. I guess body armor helped a bit as well.

I am now trying to get a brown star on AUG. Initial feeling is that this mule kicks a lot. It offers completely different feel and need some adjustment. Still 4400+ points to go until awesomeness of Abakan.

I got a gold star with the AUG and loved it before I unlocked the AN-94. I've never gone back. :p

I would say that the F2000 is the worst. The AK actually isn't that bad as soon as you get used to it, but the F2000 is just bad.

Actually the F2000 rocks in Hardcore, the rate of fire and dmg is second to none.

Actually the damage of the F2000 is the lowest of all assault rifles, hardcore or not.
