Bad analogy here. Sorry. But Iraqi Air Force did shot down an F/A-18 during a MiG-25P sneak attack, despite overwhelming US air dominance during Gulf War.

Some things you've mentioned such as learning how to use guns to their best, getting headshots -- these are some of the things that constitute skill. M60 gets you same or better results without having any skill. A good player might do just as well with MG36, but a bad one will always use M60. It's an overpowered gun, and so is the tube.

A good player will have better results with M60 than with MG36. I think that kind of philosophism is useless. Check the stats, it is overpowered and that's it.
Short range: kills faster than just about anything
Long range: takes the same amount of shots as semi auto sniper rifles with magnum bullets + about 1/2 of their recoil +550 rof + 100 round mag, add ACOG and go figure.

honestly people don't know how to properly shoot the guns according to the game. I have noticed with the pkm you shoot 1-2 shot bursts while strafing it kills just as fast as the m60, the m60 is extremely inaccurate while shooting full auto while someone is in your face its ridiculous. Its funny how half you people complain about the m60 when people are not even using it to its full advantage, the way people shoot it sometimes is stupid. The mg36 is also a ballin gun, its extremely accurate and gets headshots galore but no one uses it or complains.....why is that?

o thats right because people dont want to learn the guns. they just want easy kills. and when someone gets an easy kill so to speak, people cry.

Also when you get killed and dont know from where and you see what killed you, you blame the gun. but infact blame yourself for not being aware.

No nerfs yet please, maybe slight adjustments if needed later, the game hasn't been out a month yet. The m60 is good get over it and if you're getting smoked by 40mm grenade or cg move more don't be a sitting duck.

What do you mean no nerfs? If they made wrong, they need to fix it.

the MG36 is a nice gun yes, but you can't full auto the thing from the hip or scope and get kills across a map

the M60 is a gun where, even without a scope you just line the guy up, hold fire and then just follow the hit indicators

combine that with 100 rounds and its no wonder people who don't know what burst firing is use it

whack a 4x scope on it and you can basically outsnipe anything as well let a lone you can basically fire from the hip for as long as you want and you can kill the guy in front of you

other guns have drawbacks or limitations, currently I use the M60 as a rage gun when I really can't be ****ed because I know how stupidly ****ing easy it is to kill anyone with it

I know nerfing is frowned upon because of past battlefields but really the M60 is quite ridiculous, I play the game with friends who used to play CS with me and they think the same tbh

I just hope they don't totally destroy the gun like the vietnam version, it should still be useful but not the I can kill anything over any range by holding fire gun it is now

The M60 will get nerfed (like the 1911), that's why I use the MG-36. They didn't learned from BF Vietnam it seems.

Yeah, they did a great job with the M60 after the nerf in that game.

Every sentence in a post isn't always pointed directly at the person quoted. That last sentence was for everyone who wants to play using only the most powerful, unbalanced weapons. Sure, it's in the game. Sure, nothing says you can't use it. Again, people don't like being insta-killed by the masses who refuse to use weapons that don't kill in milliseconds, so they leave. Then people cry about teams being unbalanced and servers being empty. Make your bed and lie in it.

This is ********. I am killed by [some weapon] all the time! And I sometimes tell myself "COME ON", stop killing me with [some weapon]!!! But I am not going to go all ***** about it asking [some weapon] to be changed. Try something new, try to avoid being killed by that weapon. If you're constantly being killed by the repair tool, it's advisable you start playing the game. Same for being killed by snipers, either the sniper is really a good shot and landed a headshot while you were running for cover, or you're just too stupid too move your *** out of sight quick enough.

Some peoples definition of noob = that guy who just killed me~ Now, who is the actual noob, I wonder.

This is a game, not war. In a fight, I'll rip someone's ear off with my teeth. I'll kick someone's knees and cripple him for life.

While playing basketball, I don't stomp on peoples' feet in order to slow them down, or "accidentally" elbow people in the face. It's a game, and that would be lame. No one likes playing with jerks.

So go ahead and play like a scrotehat. Just don't be surprised when people don't want to play with you anymore.

I just don't follow the logic. When the US dropped nuclear weapons on Japan to end the war, was that "Noob" to you? How about US F/A-18's taking on the Iraqi Air Force, was that "Noob" also? The A-10's used to decimate their armor?

It's all about flanking, cover and concealment. I don't care what kind of weapon you're using if I'm playing properly.
