Mine varies wildly. I'll be playing with 8 people in the server, doing great. Then I'm just firing blanks after a little bit. I go from 20-2 to 22-15, it's ridiculous. I don't change anything with my bursts, but for some reason it starts out taking 2-3 bursts to kill someone and turns into 10, then they turn around and I die.

I experience this aswell however i put it down to complacency rather than bad luck or lag.

It is more than that. The shotguns are rather predictable because you are so close, and I can usually tell right away if a server is going to suck.

Yea but when you are getting 22-5 and doing great then all of a sudden start getting 24-15 etc then its not so much down to lag as it is complacency towards how crap the other team are playing.

What I do to see if the server is responding fast enough (i.e. good ping) is to destroy a fence with the melee attack and see how long it takes for the fence to actually be destroyed. I am in Hong Kong, and on Taiwanese servers it usually takes around half a second (felt) for the fence. On Hong Kong servers (unfortunately, only a few servers in Hong Kong) it happens immediately.

No, I talk to the people in Vent. There is a definite change if I'm in a map for a while. It goes from me dominating to them saying that I wasn't even shooting at all on their screens. Trust me, I'm always shooting them.

Another thing I've had happen is bullets from the back of a guy's head. I was sneaking up on a guy to knife him and bullets kept flying out of the back of his head to kill me. On his screen, he said he turned around and watched me duck-walking up to him. He never turned around on my end.

With me having the lowest latency in the server pretty much all of the time, it's frustrating when things like this happen. Being punished for a fast connection is what made me quit playing BF2. I hope the same isn't going to happen with this game.

1/5th of your kills are with 40mms. You have more kills with a grenade launcher than you do with any gun. And you have the audacity to tell someone to L2Aim?

For both; you get pretty much invulnerability in-game; and after you finish playing you have NICE hardcore videos of hardcore action.

Way I see it if the weapon is in the game then you are allowed to use it, no? Why is everybody flaming each other for using what DICE gave us to kill each other with?

I'm crap, always have been, always will be. I use the 40mm more than most people on here would deem acceptable. I don't care. Would you have them design a game with only one weapon so everybody is even?

If somebody is racking up kills with a weapon you think is "noobish" then use it on them.

Hitreg seems to vary from server to server so just go find another server with better responsiveness to your bullets.

lol worse? we are talking about shooting guns, and how much harder it is than mindlessly launching a nade that almost always kills. I was using the m60 before you people even knew it was in the game. now that everyone uses it, it somehow becomes a "non-skill weapon" which is crap because I almost never get killed with it. plus im talking about how 1/5 of kills is 40mm thats extreme. not a bad thing, it just contradicts you telling people to L2aim.
I use it too when im assault.
idk why your feelings are hurt so bad. I guess you took it the wrong way.

Certain weapons change the way the game is played completely. If everybody used GLs then this game would end up as MW2 or worse.
