Well i must admit im having real fun with the GOL + Red Dot now, the M95 has a slow ROF and the GOL can kill much faster whilst pulling off more shots and kills roughly within the same distance. This is a real deadly combo for anyone who is a good twitch player

I've only been playing a couple of hours so far and I've stuck with the Assault class. I don't even have a red dot as an attachment in that class, yet. I have a difficult time finding a server to play on which is set to normal mode and isn't laggy. Most every server in my area is set to HC mode and not knowing the maps makes that mode very hard to play for this old man as I keep getting lost. LOL

Why not try an empty server to get to know the maps? I keep finding flanking "alleys" all the time this way.

The thing is, in the middle of a firefight, you tend to follow other people and can't really pay attention to hiding spots if you don't know them in the first place.

Now I see a difference... I'm running around as a Private with my AEK and it seems like I need to put 4-5 rounds into someone to drop them. With the sniper rifle + red dot scope it is completely different. I'm at a real disadvantage...

You're doing it wrong. Assault has a OSOK too. It's called the 40MMGL. :thumbsup:

Quite a funny thing happened to me a few days ago.
When I was playing I somehow realized this dude always hanging around me, he wasn't in my squad and he was, I think first rank. So, he basically followed me everywhere I went and engaged the enemies. I am not sure, but the whole time I had the feeling he was like a little duckling, you know, following its mother to check out the real world. It was quite funny. Hope I was able to show him a few good spots.

That could be the case.....OR...since you were playing sniper (assuming that based on this thread) he knew people would be coming to you to try to get your tags and being the little host parasite that they were, fed off your crumbs and thereby protecting its host at the same time.

M95 + Red Dot Sight + Magnum Rounds, now it has an even bigger one shot kill distance!

ya this is pretty fun, its my new preferred way to roll. pretty challenging. occasionally i'll throw the 4x scope on it if the situation calls for it, but the red dot is such a fast scope.

Exactly, the red dot has such a fast scope capability that i dont even mind being hit 2 or 3 times to line up that kill shot.
