Yes, I realize the game was made this way. Yes, I've heard the arguement that If they didn't want you to do it they wouldn't leave it in there.

All these arguements are exactly the same, so if your planning on using this, please dont argue about cheapness or noobness in the game, as that would be hypocracy.

Its far from cheap, in fact it leaves you VERY OPEN in game play.

You have one shot and if you miss or it doesnt kill then you have about 3 seconds before you can pull off that other shot basically leaving you for dead. If you could spam the M95 like a MG then yes thats cheap, what we are doing atm is no more cheap than sniping with the rocket launcher or sitting in your base while you rape with a UAV, all of them leave you open to attack.

juno, try it and then say how you feel about it instead of jumping to conclusions and bashing people about it.

Call me a purist, but the idea of using a sniper rifle at close range, I consider a failure of the game mechanism and I choose not to exploit that.

I can certainly see the advantages, it's a one hit kill, really who doesn't want that.

However, in the spirit of sportsmanship I choose not to use it, I guess I wan't to earn my score.

Sounds legit to me, DICE specifically made it so that bolt actions can one hit kill at close range, and let you put a red dot on it. There's "cheap" as in taking advantage of bugs or the dev's oversights, and there's "cheap" as in easy. Which one do you consider this as?

Besides, with the red dot sight on, it's not a sniper rifle anymore, it's just a bolt-action rifle.

I guess I wan't to earn my score.

Cheap, as in easy. It's more of a failure of dice to not address that players would do this, then the players that actually do it. I certainly can't fault players for wanting to get score in the easiest and quickest way possible.

It may be "cheap" but as soon as you encounter 2 people, you're pretty much done for... It has a large pro (osok at close range) but a large con (it's a sniper rifle and shoots a bullet every 2/3 seconds...)

You are correct in your statement that I couldn't get two kills in a row while doing it. Call me foolish or what you will, but I shall abstain. It certainly is a novel idea however, just a different way to play the game. Just like I play with the uzi and headshot at long range. All about the execution of your plan, whatever it may be.

If you think this racks up the score you clearly havent played it. With this technique i can have great rounds but still be mid to bottom half of the table. Killing people alone gets you barely any score.

Well i just got my gold for the M95 in 45 mins

ah I did this last night oh the fun,, trying to shoot people at some distance requires a bit of luck but funny as hell in the response.

Ok just tried this with the GOL and its pretty much the same effect except slightly less damage and therefore slightly less distance to one hit kill. However the huge increase in ROF accommodates for this well
