Im not saying its supposed to be like that Lol. I am saying, that you should receive the points for the passive things that you did before you die, motion mine assists, mine kills, grenades that youve thrown and armed, mortar strikes that you have launched.

If you did it, you should get the points for it, alive or dead.

Yes and yes. I think in order to get point is to STAY ALIVE. No matter if you get objectives or not.

i say this is a bug and not by design because you DO get notification of scoring while dead. it's just seems that these points do not get tallied and just seems to vanish.

Why? Your mission was accomplished. You should get rewarded for it. Regardless of death, you destroyed that vehicle, killed that guy, or finished capping something just in time. Its still an accomplishment.

No, I'm a vet, but I bend by the rules. If it a bug to be fixed then so be it, but many games out there gets you no points if you die before some magic points occuring.

The real question tho, do you get awarded if you get revived?

Yes, typically when you take one line of someones post, it comes across as nonesense. Thats why things need to be taken in context.

In my experience projectiles do not disappear when you die...

I've been killed by rockets from people i've sniped or kill by a noob-tube by someone I head shotted.

You should get points after you've died...

i just confirmed it last night that you DO NOT get points while lying dead on the ground. scoring notification appears on the screen, but NO POINTS.

Well i am always awarded the points? Today there was a full APC so i planted C4 and hit the button killing myself and everyone inside, i was given the kills and the points aswell as a badge.

simultaneous death and kill i think will net you points. what i meant was when you're lying dead on the ground and you get notified of scoring like pts for kill assists, those points do not actually get added to your total score.

that's totally lame. so to combat suicide bombing, they make it so that you can't score while dead (waiting to respawn). to me it just sounds like some put together excuse to address a bug they didn't fix.

Yeah, you'd think if it was to combat suiciding then they'd just make it so you don't score points if you committed suicide in some way. The game already keeps track of your suicides and of course you have that big EPIC FAIL across your screen, so how hard would it have been for them to simply not give points then, but give them at all other times?

What kinda irks me is that when you are good enough at C4 ramming, you can do it and survive. The ATVs continue in their path very far once you jump off.

Not that I have done that in the game, which I have and it works very well. So thank you for the points
