I just don't like the chaotic nature of the game, but other than that, I m all right with it.

Chaotic I mean, what the previous poster mentioned the "tactical" element in this game.

The flanking, the uniform battleline or simply the comma rose to say thanks or say I NEED AMMO when you cannot find the assault guy near you.

run and gun is still alive in this game. You just need a good squad to back you. My play style has not really changed that much. I guess i just like a new fresh version of a game. I played BF2142 for 1300 hours. I could see myself getting close to that in this game.

Well i really did try and i gave this game plenty of chances but im out!

This game just plain sucks,Ive been playing since 2002 and this BF title is just a insult to a BF vet!:R

Its a token EA gesture to those PC guys who have been waiting so long(5 years),A console port designed to keep 13 year olds happy IMO,Im not going to say BC guys are slow or thick but cmon guys lift your standards!

Its not only the connection issues,small maps,stupid perks,nurfed weapons,no prone,Gimics,too fast play but the whole COD style design i dont like.

Plenty will be happy that i wont be posting in this section of the forum again and i was going to shut my mouth but im a passionate BF vet player and will have my say that "BF is going down hill"!,My only hope is BF3 does not follow this trend.I have told EA what i think of the game.I will speak my mind and be vocal about the BF game i loved and im sorry you guys have to listen to me for this last time being negative about this game.

If i wanted a COD game i would have went with Activision

Guess i will be waiting a total of 7 years now for BF3,I really hope its not a port and doesnt have stupid features.I complained and fought hard to try bring a BF2 beating game to all of us(IMO this does not even come close)

I know TGN have to be Pro battlefiled in whatever they make but some of you elder players are you really happy?

Not bored with it but I can see longevity issues, for some it's the quickness of unlocking all the weapons. Remember in BF2 you could unlock something from any class once you achieved a high enough rank/score - the low ranks came easy but to unlock everything took a long time (for me anyway), you had to choose wisely or else that weapon for the class you really like to play will take you weeks to get.

I think they're a little too generous with the gold stars 5000 point boosts, but on the other hand you have people scoring that many points just in kills alone on hardcore servers.

Maybe it's more of a struggle on the console players (on the average) and they didn't want two separate point systems for the unlocks.

Rush mode is fun but once you've won a map a few times the buzz you get from doing it again diminishes some, definitely needs more maps. There are some cool locals in the single player I'm sure they'll eventually turn into multiplayer maps.

The other notable thing you got with BF2 and you don't get here is the different armies, no Chinese, Arab, British along with their own set of weapons etc.

It still has a feeling of Battlefield Lite to me, but I've already spent more time playing it than I have for most other games I've purchased recently.

If they released a "city map pack" for the game I think it would help quite a bit, just mention Strike at Karkand and people go nuts thinking of how cool that map would be in this game. It doesn't have to be Karkand remake but something like it, they almost have it with Arica Harbour's middle section.

Not bored, but a bit annoyed that we're two weeks since release and it seems that most servers have settled into a 2-3 map rotation already. Heck, I haven't even seen a Blackhawk yet.
